    Could you please mention the best way to learn about finance as a developer

    Hey Mushu, I was told that jobs in banking were more secure than typical tech jobs due to the fact that profits go up when the interest rates go up. If this is true then why did GS do layoffs? Is it a specific type of bank that this is true for?

    Does GS provide laptops ? If not how gs techies work? on personal laptop with VDI or in office computer desktops?

      Hey, they don't provide work laptops, so remote days are typically done through a remote desktop session on a personal computer.

    Hey Mushu , really nice video! I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will help your video to reach to a wider audience .

    I see. So, Goldman Sachs is not that good for software roles. One should look at it only for strategy roles.

    Goldman Sachs sounds awful. Why didn't you work remotely since that was an option? Imagine commuting to the office, and having to pay for the office gym lmao. LA Fitness is a better gym for cheaper.
    $135k base but zero stock and you're living in expensive NYC with high tax? That's an L. Did you switch to FAANG?

    • @Mushu909
      @Mushu909  Рік тому +3

      Yes, the base was low but higher than what I had before. There is the bonus, however. Also it's important to keep in mind that stock options often take a certain number of years before they vest. They had a hybrid work arrangement which I took advantage of.

      @@Mushu909To go through all you described here for a measly $135k salary+bonus is highly exploitative. You could have found much higher paying jobs especially Sales Engineering or even software engineering at real Tech companies. Hope you can make a video on advising young people never to stay at these types of firms long term for such low salary.

    Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎
    Edit the video in a good style.
    Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization.
    Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video.
    Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video.
    Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good.

      Video was just fine. He was talking about a job. People are interested on facts, not on b-roll or colors.
