I've had this pedal for about a year. I love it. I don't use one single preset. What's great about it is the tons of effects pedal and simulations in it. I've set up a dozen patches for playing through my fender amp. Then I set up the same patches with the amp sims through my PA. Works great. For $59 bucks you can't beat it.

I picked up the g1x on and it's great fun when you're on vacation and just need to play some tunes once in a while to put your mind at ease 😁. The battery input and headphone jack makes this thing very useful.

I would also love if you show how you make the patches and what the four other buttons do, Try over dubbing maybe, that will help alot. And one question, I didnt see where u played the guitar in its natural sound, without the effects, so does the pedal have an option for that, or do we necessarily have to use one of the effects.
Hi Obinna. You can turn off all the effects. The bypass sound is kinda dry so I always use the preamp. I have lots of reviews of the G1Xon. Including the looper, lead sounds etc. You can check my gear reviews playlist. Thank you and have a great day.
I have a Zoom g1xon, and for the price it's unbeatable, but the factory patches really sucks! I had to spend some time tweaking it because some amps and drive pedals have a lot of gain, treble and volume, so you just have to roll back a little bit the volume on the drives and the presence o the high gain amps and you will have an awesome sound :)
I can only vouch for the G1xon, I know it and I know the sounds but looking at the "FOUR" with the buttons and all. I think ease of use and functionality is better.
Hi, they are just groups of patches. So that you can easily remember the position or what sound you want or what you've saved. Let's say my favorite is B3 and A4 etc. You can remember them how you want to, by pre-amps or by effects. Good day!

I've found this to be an unusable bit of kit. The buzz is unbearable for me. Playing on a Squier Classic Vibe Tele
