My name is Sophia Cruz, I was also born in Guam and I'm half Chamorro, I was surprised years ago when I found that my family wasnt the only Cruz's out there, I'm not in Guam anymore but I'm hoping I can go back and see my siblings.
I need it this to remember where i was raised...im not from there..but i cannot forget where i was raised from..missing my island foods❤❤❤Greetings from Washington
This is by far the best version of kelaguen. I love how he crushes the peppers into the mix of lemon. It makes the heat more even and you won’t get that “Gimme some water! I bit into a hot pepper’” scenario.
Having been stationed on Beautiful Guam for a total of 10 years we have enjoyed all of Guam foods at fiestas all around the Island. Our family have a great many remories of our time there . I worked at the Naval Supply Depot the last time were stationed there. Wonderful giving people. Hafa Da Guam
Yay!! Thanks for this video - I love your way of making chicken kelaguen. For the most part, I already make mine this way, but I enjoyed watching your video anyway! :) Hafa Adai✌K.Dueñas
This is probably a dumb question but is there another way of adding coconut instead of having to grate a fresh one? There are slices of coconut sold in jars at some Filipino stores

my husband volunteered me to make this for a BBQ at his work this friday and ive never made it on my own thanks for the video
Green onions need to be sliced thinner …otherwise it looks very mannge!
I grew up on this. We had a variation because coconuts were expensive but it still was really good.
