If the goats keep getting stuck in the fence, tape a piece of plastic pipe across both horns wider than the opening on the fence. It works great. It looks odd, buy it doesn't hurt them and can actually prevent injuries from them struggling to get out of the fence. Once the horns grow wide enough that they cant fit through the fence you can take it off.
Yes and I thought keeping sheep was easy 😂😂 it's put me right off and I don't have an up and coming shepherdess. Did you manage to get the lame one sorted? I believe it's a common complaint in the cloven hoofed animals, isn't it?
She was actually suffering from a swollen knee joint. Fortunately a week of antibiotics in a smaller pen did the job and she is back out with the others now.
I don't know if calling the channel 'Chav Farm' where you spray paint all the animals is a good idea. Most likely not. Well done for keeping them in a good state of health. It certainly makes better viewing than not showing that type of thing....
Good video getting the sheep sheared is such a relief for the sheep and the farmer 👍
That guy is amazing, quality work
Flystrike is the reason that I learned myself how to Shear. Nice video.
Hey Tim, love your work 👍
What will you do with the fleeces? They are great for path base layers or renovating muddy gateways 😊

We have a couple with the crown of shame. Plenty of hilarious content on IG. 😂 works great though.
Will you use sheep dipping next year to prevent the flies?
Probably not, just pour on. The Lleyns don’t suffer as much so should be easier when it’s just them.
Will you use the wool as insulation in your house build?
Not this year but we will be filming a short doc on sheepswool insulation when we start house build.
