- Join us on an unforgettable journey as AndyRides7832 and biking-northwest invite @SheWolf-Cumbria and I for an epic motorcycle ride from Kendal to the Legendary Tan Hill Inn. At 1732ft Above Sea Level.
In this video, we navigate through the stunning landscapes of the Cumbrian countryside and the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales. Starting from the charming town of Kendal, we make our way through the picturesque valleys, quaint villages, and scenic roads, all the way to the highest pub in Britain, the Tan Hill Inn.
Route Highlights:
Kendal to Sedbergh: Enjoy the serene beauty of the Howgill Fells as we cruise through the A684.
Sedbergh to Hawes: Experience the scenic Garsdale and a quick stop at the bustling market town of Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale cheese.
Hawes to Tan Hill Inn: Ride along the B6259 and B6270 through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, ending at the iconic Tan Hill Inn.
Points of Interest:
Sedbergh: Known for its bookshops and scenic surroundings.
Hawes: Don’t miss the Wensleydale Creamery!
Muker: A perfect spot for a break with its traditional stone cottages and pub.

What a great ride I enjoyed it to the end, have a good one. Me and my friend Paul are setting off to the Mull of Galway tomorrow on 2 motor scooters for an overnight camping trip.

i Don`t normally undertake but i trust northwest biker with knowing his riding I know he wont move toward the left side when i undertake other than that i never do it.

Glad to hear that, Some time ago, I was on New road in Kendal, I was just about to turn left into the garage there and it`s a good job I shoulder checked to my left, as a bike was trying to pass me, on the left, as I was about to turn. We both nearly had a real bad day. :/ Thanks @AndyRides7832 it was a fun ride out.
