Zia Bhai: nice hotel, buffet! Good idea to take the tour on the boat! The problem is with the tourist industry in all countries there are scams, especially with taxi fares, tour prices & food. The problem in your case was that you trusted the taxi driver to take you to reputable tour operator. The taxi driver is only interested in the commission he receives from the tour operator because they charged you an inflated price, 500R($110) vs 280R($60)😢 The problem was that you, in the beginning, had no idea what the fair price for the tour was? You can't trust anybody!
Just to correct with Nasi Lemak that was not fried onions its Fish. Small dryed fried fish. Ans Nasi Lemak is kind of National Dish. Don't take it lightly 😅 Enjoy your time

I was also there last month and found out that Crocodile cave has absolutely no crocodiles for last 40-50 years, Batcave is half submerged in water and bats pretty small in size, Eagles are actually not eagles but some kind of Kite.
Also Langkawi in general seems a bit of poor and economically deprived area of Malaysia. Other than Cenang Beach and the Eagle square areas, the rest of it seems poverty stricken.
