Everyone who is thinking Tua is going to fix things...since start of 2023 against .500 or better teams...less than 220 yards per game and 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
At this point, we’re not catching Buffalo and winning the division. We’re also probably not making the Playoffs or at most (but very unlikely) be a Wildcard. So, we need to play our young guys, Patrick Paul, Cam Smith, Chop Robinson, etc and get them experience. The most we can get out of this season is experience for them and then a good draft pick. So we tank, draft high and well, cut these expensive injury prone veterans, sign good offseason additions, and then move on to next season. I love the fins but I’m tired of watching this team
It's real damn frustrating. I don't wanna blow it up, because we sorta knew that things would come off the rails if Tua got hurt, but we keep falling into the same trap every year and we don't do anything about it. Like I said... frustrating!
Last time I pick the Fins to win a game this year. This is 2007 vibes. Fins played not to win. I had first predicted the Colts to win, then some Fins fans said, "oh, Flacco is not playing". Well, that didn't matter.
I think the Coach needs to shoulder a lot of the blame. Yes, Tua was out, but come on, this team should be able to score more than 11 points a game even without Tua.
@@Heisenberg-src agreed, especially after four games this year and numerous two years ago. It’s not like we’re brand new to playing without Tua. This one hurt
McDaniel is in over his head. His gameday coaching is horrible No backup QB in year 3 Wright no carries till 3rd quarter No one is held accountable Why is Julian Hill and eichenburg on this 53 much less dressed on gameday The TE coach is trash My only question is do you believe any heads will roll after the szn?
It's a great question. We're gonna have to see the offense do a complete 180 for the front office to remain 100% committed to McDaniel. But even then, what happens the next time Tua gets hurt? There's gotta be some sort of plan in place where the offense doesn't turn into a 10 PPG offense anytime a backup comes in
@FinsUpNetwork if the szn doesn't change I would love to see everyone fired except Brandon Shore. Keep him and can everyone else. Maybe keep Weaver depending on the final half of the szn
A game plan that ignores two of the best receivers in the game, that is rediculous. If a QB is incapable of hitting Hill, Waddle, or OBJ for a 5-15 yard pass-he doesn’t belong on the field. But this team’s offensive sluggishness has lasted since about midseason of last year. McDaniel is not a good in game play caller and MUST give it up. Heads need to roll. Specially a coach on the offense perhaps even McDaniel himself. J. Hill need to be benched. How many tipped, missed, and blocked field goals will we see and how many meh plays on returns before the ST coach is fired? The only good coaching I see is Weaver. The really sad part is this crap-burger was after 2 weeks preparing for one of the worst defenses in the league!
That's another thing I forgot to mention during the video... an extra week to prepare and we still couldn't find a way to get Hill/Waddle involved? Some short crossing/mesh routes can't be too hard to bring into a game plan, and those are passes any NFL QB can throw. Plus it gets the ball into their hands sooner to allow them to make plays after the catch. Hell, those plays should be incorporated more even when Tua is in. Four losses through six games will be hard to overcome, especially when this was the part of the season where we were supposed to be stacking up wins to prepare for when the weather turns and the competition gets harder
If not screens, at least shallow crossing & mesh routes that are safe completions and allow for yards after the catch. There was quite literally none of that happening
This was a horrible game plan. We didn’t even use Hill, Waddle or OBJ at all or even at least as decoys. No defense can stay with either Hill or Waddle if they ran crossers. The mistakes are almost comical by now. J. Wright needs to be involved throughout the whole game. You can’t give it to him 5 straight times and then that’s it. Let Wright, Achane or Mostert run it 2 or 3 times and then switch it up. Don’t give the ball to one back 5 straight times. With zone blocking it wears down the RB too fast. Third and one and we give it to Ingold again? That play hasn’t worked since week one. Then we try a 54 yard FG instead of going for it. Even if we made that FG it was the wrong call to make. J. Hill has to go. He was responsible for a sack, he got another penalty, he missed several key blocks and he had a drop. Why is Tanner still on the roster? Smythe’s holding call was very questionable to say the least. I’m looking forward to diving into the film of this game once again. McDaniel wasting timeouts again is a very big problem and that has gone on for 3 years now. Tua bitched out McDaniel in week one because he was not getting the plays in on time. McDaniel cannot call plays anymore because he doesn’t stick to the game plan and he can’t run the whole team because he gets in over his head by over thinking play calling. He isn’t organized enough to handle all of the different issues that needs to be addressed during a game. Everyone waited all year for this team and it started out as a joke by T. Hill getting cuffed on the way to the stadium. That right there should have shown us what we were going to be in store of for this season. The Colts defense is and was horrible but we just kept shooting ourselves in the foot by getting penalties, making mistakes and wrong play calling at the wrong time. We are an embarrassment. Crossman has to go. For us to have a realistic shot for the rest of the season we need to go at minimum 8-3. The sad part is that even with all of our injuries we still have had the horses to be successful but we keep beating ourselves with the same mistakes over and over. A lot of our issues are very easy to fix but McDaniel won’t do what is necessary. We couldn’t even get one backup QB to play 4 straight games! Skylar, Tim, Snoop, Tim. No consistency. Plus we have to get a back up QB that possesses some of the same skills as Tua in order for this offense to at least stay on par for what we want to do. Skylar, Tim and Huntley DO NOT HAVE ANY OF THOSE TRAITS. Neither of them are high IQ anticipatory type of QB’s. McDaniel is just too stubborn and he is coaching himself out of a job.
Well said. I keep coming back to the idea of simple crossing routes not even being included in the game plan. Easy routes that don't take too long to develop and are simple passes for NFL QBs - and we didn't run anything of that nature. These next couple weeks with Tua are going to be very telling. For McDaniel's sake, they better put up close to 30 each week for a while here to help put the front office/media/fans at ease, because there's a lot of ugly surrounding this team right now.
Is anybody awake yet. Ben tell your viewers the truth. This season has all been stagged. Even when Tua was here he never played well. Ben McDaniel game plan according to everybody in the media was poor ,stop telling any of this made sense. You should try waking up. This is tanking. This game was a must!

I would not say the season was stagged. I am of the opinion, that Grier & McDaniel thought they could get away with what they had. Even when THOUSANDS of fans kept pointed out the flaws in this team. I says THOUSANDS, because we don't tend to have a smart fan base. This is a case of everything nearly going wrong, players not stepping up, draft picks not panning out/playing at a high level, and coaching...geez..McDaniel is in over his head. His lack of adjustments, etc are just par for the course. Dolphins fans definitely need to wake up. It's not going to miraculously get better. It's sad. Another wasted season. I don't mean to sound doom & gloom, but all of us fans who have been around this team since the 70s, we seen how this movie ends.

The Miami Dolphins 🐬 are definitely on the right track is selecting a high draft pick in 2025
