@@yecollah Well, you can technically get Minecraft for free with Launchers like Tlauncher, tho it's a bit different than normal Minecraft because you can't play on all Servers (you can't play on Hypixel for example)
Man, what's with all these Minecraft UA-camrs trying to get some brownie points with Mojang? Every video, all the same: "Is Minecraft dead? Well, if we take a look at this chart of players that Mojang gave to the public, along with this photograph of their developers working hard that Mojang gave me specifically, no, Minecraft is not dead." Let's be honest though, once Agnes and Jeb got their hands into ownership and Dream rigged the Mob Votes, Minecraft has died significantly. Promises not kept, mobs lost to time, fireflies never to be, Iceolodgers left frozen in time, it's all evident. Mojang has failed. When Notch sold Minecraft to Microsoft, Notch knew his creation was complete. Microsoft is just lashing at a dead horse at this point. There never needed to be more, if anything, we want less now because they added more. Merely opinion of course.
The thing is, I had no intention whatsoever to portray this video in a way that would suppport Mojang and their actions. I did criticize Mojang for a lot of things in this video and never said Mojang developers are working hard, I rather called them out for being quite lazy with updates and said that the modding and Server community basically carried Minecraft all this time. The conclusion I gave of Minecraft not being dead was meant more in a way that it's still a pretty popular game compared to others, but yes, the game is slowly dying, it's just far from dead for now. Maybe I could have made that a bit clearer at the ending :)
I think modders have kept this game so relevant for so long. Mojang official updates are always lacklustre
Yeah, I think without the modding community the game would've already died out a long time ago...
