I still think that Zerox is the best thing that Adam & The Ants ever wrote or recorded. I got chills down my spine when I first heard it; it sounded so deep and mean and intense. I went to see them in the early days - all darkness and S&M black leather and bondage - amazing!
First Ant record I bought! WH Smith Eltham, south east London. Pretty sure I heard Annie Nightingale play it one Sunday evening and the following Saturday went out with my pocket money and bought it. Something like 80p!!! Good video John, looking forward to the Cartrouble single video (the last Ant single I truly loved. It was a short dalliance in the end!) ✌️
First heard the track 1987, it blow the socks off me,simply amazing song, sounds a bit sex pistols guitars at the start of the track, i think the photo was taken on the zerox tour of 2 fans ? I only knew of it, after seeing adam and ants discography 1986, i read chris welch paperback book 1986, which came out in 1981 which said the track was amazing, i got the book from great yarmouth they sold books outside so glad i bought it, got the single late 1990s, adam was a graphic designer. Cheers mate.
It was on a few early versions of dirk weres white sox, i have a nice white vinyl dirk, which has a poster of zerox, and few more goodies as welk worth getting it, lock up your brains cos im here again, was written about the bad press they got back in the day.
One of my favourite songs of all time, I have both versions of the 7" Single and sllices my own version of the video ua-cam.com/video/DBFCWnBau4k/v-deo.html

I had copy on home tape at first, which had kick, and cartrouble part 2, and also had desperate but not serious all at my request.
Should have been a big hit, when do it released it to cash in on his fame.
