The Cycle is finally broken. The Signal Tower falls silent, the Eyes of the Monster finally closed. Six is able to move past the Maw, past the Pale City, and build a life for herself in a slowly healing, slowly rebuilding world. But not without remembering the past. Not without remembering what she did - what, at the time, she felt she had to do - to survive. He's been gone for so long, but his shadow still looms over her life. Fitting, that what she did to one named Mono is why she's so alone.
this popped into my recommended at the perfect time. friend just left me out of her birthday celebration, ghosted me day of after assuring me she's send me the restaurant info and talking about the outfits we should wear. my friends are my everything and her silence is deafening.
LN's music never fails to bring out so many emotions. The way its sound so cheerful and yet so sad at the same time... it tells perfectly of the broken and dismal world the children live in and that, despite it all, there is still that little ray of hope they all cling to. A hope that the world will return to how it was before, that they will once again sleep in their own beds, eat warm food, and be reunited with their families. A hope that they can finally stop running and come out of the shadows that have sheltered them for so long. A hope that, one day, they will wake up from the nightmare with no end...
I listened to the first Little Nightmares lofi mix so many times, I am so happy that there is a second Little Nightmares lofi mix because I love the soundtracks of both games and give out a creepy but beautiful ambience. Also, Six is thinking about Mono after she loses him in the Signal Tower and thinking about what she has done... Aw...
*Technically Mono is dead,* the child's innocence died. Thin Man took his place, adult cynicism & a cold heart of jadedness took over where his innocence was. End of the hall also can be seen as a dark visual representation of the death of innocence into adulthood. The art is symbolic, not literal. It symbolizes regret. For you can see tears running along her face. Given the length of her limbs, she's a grown up now. But the boy she knew, in spite of his mistakes, who looked out for her, is gone forever. Might explain why she felt the need to keep a picture of Thin Man on her wall for some reason, she knows who he is, was.
It’s sad how all these kids went through so much and never got a happy ending. Like raincoat girl drowned, seven or rk kid was eaten and mono was forced to be stuck in a tower and insolation and to become the thin man and six now suffering through trauma and hunger and the guilt. It’s truly sad I wish they had a better ending 😭
if you think about it.. he killed himself. he killed himself from the future and became that very monster her killed, all whilst knowing he was going to die when the new mono came around to kill him again.
These are comfort songs, and child like, music box for calming down a baby/child , a lullaby sang to you with cheerful melodies, then a heart warming melody like making a friend, like Six and Mono did. (It fits the theme of children from little nightmares so well im getting goosebumps-)
You know, i can kinda understand how Six might feel in this picture. Two years ago, i lost my best friend. She was like a sister to me. And when she needed me the most, i told her i needed some space. A lot of stuff was happening in my life, i felt like i was choking. And now, shes gone forever. Little Nightmares one was our favourite games, which we enjoyed together. So her memory will always be there. I just wish she was still here, enjoying the second game with me. 🌧️ So i feel like Six here, in this picture. I feel like I let my friend down, and now shes... A Guardian Angel, im sure. 👼 Thanks for this music video man. Very emotional. ❤️
POV: The world went back to normal when Mono was dropped. Not because he destroyed the Signal Tower but because he died. With both him and the Thin man dead, the time loop was broken. The Signal Tower had no power to feed upon and it fell into pieces. But the story does not end there. People controlled by the signal tower were let loose, and no one had powers anymore. Of course Six still experiences hunger but she does not need to eat living things to get rid of it. The Maw was turned into a resort for the survivors and Six now lives there with the Lady as an acting parental figure. Six has now aged up and the Janitor is her friend. (Little nightmares 1 never happened basically) The only way Six found her way to the Maw was because when she got out of the Signal Tower she saw the photo of it. After she arrived she started to have nightmares of her and Mono's adventures, but in each nightmare she relived him dieing over and over again. It tore her down little by little. She knew there was no going back to save him from the pain she caused, but she tried to make up for it by making knew friends and taking care of the nomes on the Maw. Eventually Mono came back as a ghost, except he didn't haunt Six, he protected her. He knew what would've happened if she hadn't of dropped him, so he forgave her. Although she didn't know that. One day as Six was taking care of the nomes she saw Mono smiling at her. Tears pricked the corners of her eyes as.she watched him hold a drawing of them two that one of the nomes drew based on Six's description of Mono. Mono mouthed the words "I forgive you." towards Six. She said thank you knowing that she could sleep peacefully now that she knew he didn't hate her.
six is now building the world for the other lost souls of kids must be saved while mono just being an gaurdian angel to six and its a bit sad for her being alone
Its so sad that it gives me an idea that in reality six is just hungry for power because she wanted to reach at the bottom of the food chain in the society that can change her life while mono who isnt real but a fantasy who supported her throughout her days knowing she betrayed him because she wanted to move on from him even though it keeps repeating from her mind. Just a theory
I like to think that Mono / Thin Man is projecting himself from a nearby T.V. in the form of something both familiar and comforting - himself as a guarding angel. The "Slenderman" like avatar is far too scary for a world repairing itself, anyway.
i swear whenever i listen to togetherness my heart aches and i feel sad but happy, it reminds me of being happy as a child but at the same time having to grow up
I hope they make a third one… but I believe they announced that little nightmares was done bur i wish they at least make one were you can play as either one mono an angel and with a random button thin man or something- i have to many ideas :)

It kinda looks like six's powers still remain with her, like her hunger. The water bottles i belive is to trick her stomach to think that she's given food. And Six still misses Mono, I believe that's the tall man hanging on the wall.

Tarsier Studios (creators of LN games) announced they weren't going to make any more installments of Little Nightmares, but the publishers, Bandai Namco, might. I duno if it'll be just as good as the other ones, but I hope if they do make one it wont ruin the series or just be a cash grab :/

Yo some of y’all need to have some imagination. “Mono isn’t dead,” well of course he isn’t, not yet. But what if he decided he’d had enough of the time loop and killed himself? What if the picture was representing Six having regrets about letting Mono drop and wishing her friend was there with her? What if the picture is what the title hints at and it’s saying that Mono forgives Six and will always be there for her in spirit? It isn’t that hard to imagine.
