- In this episode, Brent and Hunter talk with guest, Rev. Taylor Fish. Taylor Fish is a full-time evangelist that travels across the globe and has seen numerous miracles. In his recent revival with DPC, he stops and chats with Saint Talk about some of those moments.

I appreciate Brother Fish’s statement that you don’t need a pulpit to have a ministry. Brother Mason, missionary in Ukraine, made the statement, he’s been a missionary for many years and he has never preached in a pulpit overseas.

Taylor Fish if you say you read your Bible then why are you speaking tongues when there's no translator? Tell my why i want to know why. You are to stay quite if there's no translator for the other people to understand what you are saying. Don't think just because you speak tongues you are better than other people don't think you are at a higher level.
1 Corinthians 14:3-5
But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, encouragement, and comfort. (4) The one who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. (5) I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
When Paul says that you must have an interpretation with tongues, he is talking about loud tongues to edify the church, God speaking to the church - prophecy. But the Bible says that one who speaks in tongues edifies himself. Paul actually says we SHOULD speak in tongues to ourselves, meaning not addressing the church, but if we speak directly to the church there should be interpretation.
I think the Bible is very clear that we should speak in tongues: Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. The evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues (“And they were filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” - Acts 2:4). In the this scripture it was talking about the 120 people speaking in other tongues "as the Spirit gave them utterance.'
Paul himself spoke in tongues ([18] I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all: [19] Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. - 1Cor.14)
The reason here he says to speak with understanding, speaking your own language, he was talking about when he was up teaching the church.
In saying all this I am not trying to offend I promise, I'm just stating what the Word of God says 😄🙏🏻❤
