My dad and I were at that Mariners game. First game we’d gone to since I was a kid. As Mariners fans, we could not believe our luck as we’d selected that game two months in advance
I’m still sad that Cardinals announcers, other than radio, couldn’t announce Pujols #700 and that so many people from STL couldn’t watch the game because of Apple TV. I’m still happy to witness history although I wish my brother was here to witness it with me 💙
that detmers no-hitter against the rays was pure mayhem. rookie no-hitter and 4 home runs including one during rendon's first lefty at-bat. man, the 2022 angels were a disaster.
@@dylanortega9489 Also, 7 and 2/3 against the A’s. The hit he gave up that ended his no-hit bid might have been an out if it was squid playing shortstop as opposed to Soto.
I was at that angels game. Absolutely surreal. That was the peak of our season, right before the wheels fell off. The angels were finally good again, Reid Detmers was throws a no hitter, got to see Brett Phillips on the mound, and Anthony Rendon hit a homer left handed off him. I was high the rest of the night.
I was at the rangers vs rays game when Eli white made that catch and I don’t think I will ever forget that. One of the coolest sports moments I’ve ever witnessed in person. Too bad I’m an Astros fan
The Giants 13-12 win against the Mets, where Joc Pederson went yard 3 times and Branden Crawford hit the walk-off single, was in my opinion the team's best moment. But Yaz's walk-off grand slam also deserves the top spot. Both were so awesome in such a disappointing year
Let's be honest, Pujols hitting number 700 wasn't even just the greatest moment for the Cardinals this year. It was the greatest moment for an entire generation of fans to witness this year. You know it's something special when the entire home crowd is cheering for the ball to go out in an AWAY game
I was at the mariners game when they broke the drought and it was probably the best energy i have felt at any sports event ever. I am positive nothing can beat it (until the M's win the WS of course)
The Morell/Contreras friendship was just awesome to watch. Contreras taking him under his wing and seeing the bond they developed was something special. Too bad the cubs front office has 0 loyalty. Willy will be missed
I was at the Brewers game and it was electric, with the inside the park homer and the walkoff. I love how you can go 0-4 with 4 strikeouts and still be the hero. Was rooting for the Compound guys though.
The Mets had a lot of good moments but the 9th inning 7 run comeback definitely was the pick. There was also the combined no hitter, Escobar’s cycle, Escobar’s walkoff following a 4 run deficit after he drove in every run, Alonso breaks franchise RBI record, Nimmo’s game saving catch, McNeil’s NL batting title, Timmy Trumpet.
The Mariners was absolutely their huge comeback in the playoffs against the Blue Jays. We were going to make the playoffs either way that hr just clinched it
As much as Os fans love Mancini, the real moments of last year were the rookies: Gunnar Henderson’s HR in his first ML game, helmet falling off mid-swing; Kyle Stowers’ first ML HR with 2 outs in the 9th down a run against Liam Hendricks; DL Hall shutting the door on the Yanks for his first ML save; Kyle Bradish CG blanking the Astros and overall not allowing a run to them over 17 innings.
The guardians best moment was when josh naylor went absolutely off against the white Sox, it was absolutely defining of the season, and of his career (he had a gruesome leg injury a year prior, didn’t know if he’d ever play again). The walk off was cool and all, but the guardians didn’t play well at all during the game
Personally I think the Brewers best moment of the season wasnt Caratinis 3 run walkoff but the game later in the season that had Garrett Mitchell hit his first career home run in the 8th and then Keston Hiura walk it off in the 9th or 10th (cant remember if it went to extras or not)
"Cronenworth to center field! PADRES TAKE THE LEAD!" Many Padres fan will debate if its this or ""Hader to Freeman... HEEEEE STRUCK HIM OUT!" but they are both amazing. Both almost gave me a heart attack. lol
That playoff win was the greatest game I've ever witnessed for all the teams I root for lol Chargers always choke in the playoffs and I wasn't alive for when the went to the SB and the year the Padres went to the WS I wasn't even 1 yet lol so this game was the most exciting thing ever and I so hope the Padres go far in the playoffs again
That angels no hitter and Rendon left handed home run had me all excited for the rest of the season but silly me that was right before the downfall 🤣🤦🏼♂️
Was there for that game! Just had finished asking my buddy if Stowets had hit any homers in the minors, he said that he had, and I said he was about due for one! Lo and behold, a few pitches later he went yard! So crazy that he was very nearly out on a dropped foul ball
@@BroseidonLive crazy I took my dad to the game before it, and it was kinda a bullpen day we ended up loosing, but watching this one at home was awesome I can’t imagine what it felt like to be there
As a Red Sox fan, I disagree with the best moment you guys chose. Franchy Cordero's walk-off grand slam on an 0-2 pitch with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning was even more exciting. I teared up when that happened, it was so moving. And the announcers went nuts.
As a Mets fan I gotta say this is really tough. My top 3 are: -No hitter -9th inning comeback -getting our first post season win in 6 years in one of the most exciting games I’ve seen. Honorable mentions: -that crazy game in Phillie where we had to have those two new pitchers pitch due to injuries and we kept clawing our way back into the game. Not to mention canha having both the tying and go ahead home run. -the three different titles/records we achieved. -Nimmo’s home run robbing catch -Diaz being one pitch away from an immaculate inning. -Scherzer coming off the IL to throw 6 perfect innings against the brewers God I loved this year so much but I’m still annoyed at how it ended
The 700th Home Run was just the best moment of the season. Sorry I’m right but it’s something we may never witness again, at least for a very long time.
I tuned in to see your thoughts on your opinion one the Mets' best moment. Yea that one was probably their most. Some others are Bret Baty first at bat being a homer, Edwin achieving 51% strike out rate, Escobar Cycle, Also single season RBI or Jeff locking in batting tltle.
Freddie Freeman was robbed of the opportunity to try and get the batting title, Jeff was benched on the final day of the season, Freeman went 3-4, if Jeff had played and gone 0-4,1-4, or 2-4, Freddie would've had the batting title, but Buck Showalter is a pussy and benched him
At first I thought the inside the park grand slam was a Red Sox best moment as opposed to the blue jays because honestly there wasn’t anything better that the Red Sox did
Let's all just take a moment to appreciate the commentators around the league. They may not all be as good, but they make these moments shine. Sport would be nothing without them.
