Also just a note the use of pow wow in a colloquial manner is harmful to indigenous peoples. Pow wows are really important events culturally to indigenous peoples and using the words off handedly adds to the erasure of them and their cultural practices. I’m not a word cop or anything like that I just wanted to bring it up since I’ve had close friends who are indigenous who find it so harmful when they hear it used in this way so I try to say something when I can.
