The azalia bush works like a fence with carpet on it where the player can get over it but mobs that can only jump one block cant
this is mind blowing i wonder if they secretly used the fence when modeling it or something

This works for all mobs which aren't babies that can fit below the bottom half of the bush right now, so technically it is one of the easier and cheaper ways of fencing off a village from most mobs.

Hey Wattles! The last one is called a pearl hang in the speedrunning community. Its often used to finish up trading at a bastion and quickly get out right as you're done. it's very useful in a speedrunning setting but not really in a survival world.

Wattles discovered a huge trick in the Minecraft Anarchy community ^-^ on Anarchy servers that are still on java versions before 1.13 we call that trick "Pearl Loading". Say you're basing with some friends far away from 0,0 and you want to die back to spawn. You throw a pearl into unloaded chunks, die back to spawn, and then when you want to instantly teleport back to the base you can have a friend load those chunks containing your pearl. The suspended pearls will even persist through server restarts making it the fastest way to travel on multiplayer servers.

Honey blocks are just under 1 block thick.
They made for good edges for a bubble elevator without having the water exposed.
No surprise can get an arrow between them...at least for those who know how big they really are

@@uhohhotdog the bubble stream goes into the wall, outside corner. The 2 edges adjacent to your area are honey blocks built up vertically.
When walk into the corner you get into the stream by walking into the corner.

I think Wattles forgot about the Warden not being able to get out of water when ranking facts vs caps.

The ender pearl trick is called "Pearl Hanging" and is used for speedrunning. Speedrunners throw the pearl to the fortress and lower their render distance and as soon as they finish doing the bastion, they increase render distance so theres no time loss

We have used pearl teleportation for years to travel millions of blocks on anarchy servers. You just have a friend or an alt load the chunks and your instantly back at your base.

When you were bridging for the swift sneak bridging one, looking straight down and bridging is slower than bridging side-on.

The potions and cauldron working in the nether are just to make potion brewing easier for players. My friends server have a whole fire res refinery in our nether hub
I think I saw the chest boat unloader one on Silentwisperer's channel and I think the chest part of the boat had to be in the middle of the hoppers..... don't quote me on that one. It might also be the the Bedrock-Java devide where it works on one but not the other? Not sure 😅
I actually built that goat horn farm in my world using chickens. It worked for a while, then the goats started skipping around it constantly. I also couldn't get an auto-collector running on it.
So I made different style one, got an allay for my collector, and now have more of the basic horns than I can deal with. Still no screaming goat ones though.

The hopper+chest boat thing doesn't work coz the chest boat is getting items from the top hopper one by one so the other hoppers have just one item to pick at a time and only one can get it
Well the azalea hack works for all mob...i knew that since 1.17 update
the e pearl one actually has use for certain things mainly anarchy, you can use an alt account to load the pearl and teleport insane distances, like millions of blocks

I guess wattles never played pvp servers to understand the importance of the pearl teleportation, setting up was tedious but now it's so easy, when the pearl is frozen in time in a unloaded chunk, and you're in trouble, you let your friend or alt account log in in that chunk and you're insta teleported tens of thousands of blocks

pearl hanging is pretty useful for speedruns, theres also a way of doing it with water and a trapdoor but i think you need someone else to active that one
That's called an ender pearl stasis chamber! It's also really cool. You can hook it up to some redstone and do cool things with it.

The crazy thing with the boat with chest over the hoppers is that it's hitbox can be over a 3x3 of hoppers below. Then, raise that chest with boat up 1/2 block by putting the boat with chest on a bottom slab over those 9 hoppers. Now, surround that boat with 2 rings of 12 hoppers each, pointing in towards the boat with chest. Finally, above the boat with chest, put 9 hoppers pointing down toward the boat with the chest. (you'll probably have to place those hoppers first, actually, but you get the idea). Bingo, you've now got 33 hoppers feeding into the boat with chest inventory and 9 hoppers coming out. What that's useful for, I'm not quite sure, but it is interesting.

Mobs also cannot jump over opened trapdoors, although they are exactly 16 pixels tall like most blocks.
So the even item distribution works if you can unload into the boat faster than 4 hoppers can pull from it.
I've seen a speed runner use the ender pearl trick in the nether. He threw it then lowered his distance, traded with a pig men and when he got all the ender pearls he needed increase his distance and instantly teleported to where he threw the pearl

for the purpose of minecart with hopper or boat with chest 4×hopper speed split or 9×hopper speed split or even both , you should check out ethos 1.19 video

When you tested the hopper with chest boat after you added 9 hoppers to the bottom and placed the boat in the middle each hopper on the bottom had equal amounts of wood....which makes it a fact not a fail....
