This definitely is not a fancy tourist town. However, the old narrow street with clean and tidy residents' houses and small stores implies the cultivations of a culture and its dignity.
Love the video, just short of the perfect ambience. My ONLY criticism is that the added sound effects rather hurt the immersion, than help it. But that’s just my personal take! 9/10 video!
While working on a complex puzzle, the BGM in the background kept my mind engaged and focused. The intricate melodies seemed to match the challenge of the puzzle, providing a rhythmic background that helped me think more clearly and solve each piece with precision
I immersed myself in the atmosphere of Nara so deeply that I began to feel a little wet and a little lonely. Like that frightened deer in your video. But, thank you for such a great opportunity to wander there.
See, Japan is where i want to live forever honestly and a lot of people probably won’t understand but I really do, I want to live there, I want my kids to grow up there and after that, it just feels right to me, this is where I want to spend the rest of my life
I'd love it if you could have a little compass in the corner of the screen that shows when you are heading north, east, south or west. Not sure if such a thing is possible? I love to know what direction I'm going and having been to Nara and hoping to go again, that would make it really interesting and useful.
It is, but in some cases if you're late for something you have no choice. Also it's not that bad if you're Japanese either, sometimes tourist throw their trash on the floor when walking and eating, which is true in most cases.
Thanks for video, Robert Fischer was a famous chess player one of his final quotes was nothing eases suffering like human touch, I think calf massage are good.
The thoughtful city planning, architecture, and design are evident even in these smaller cities, making for a truly relaxing walk in the rain. What specific aspects of Japanese streets do you find most appealing or unique compared to other cities?
One aspect of Japanese streets that I find particularly appealing and unique compared to other cities is the harmonious blend of traditional and modern architecture. The streets often feature historic temples and shrines alongside contemporary buildings, creating a visually striking contrast. Additionally, the attention to detail in design, such as the use of natural elements like trees and water features, adds a sense of tranquility to the urban landscape. The efficient use of space and the prevalence of pedestrian-friendly walkways also contribute to the overall charm and appeal of Japanese streets.
what's up with the sped up sounds in the background starting at around 2:30? You can also hear them very clearly art 23:29, It sounds like a super speed overlapped audio clip out of context, of people talking, walking, cars passing by etc. I found these sounds very distracting.
Frank Lloyd Wright, America’s finest architect often built and maintained fortification-like front walls to divide interior from the exterior of the house. It was only once Sears started selling GI houses that we got empty blank lawns.
It really annoys me, a Japanese person, when foreign tourists come deep into the suburbs of Japan, not a tourist spots: quite a few people in the suburbs need more silence. Having a look at a foreign tourist recording a video on the street makes us feel our privacy is invaded.
But we truly love japan, ans so curious about locals life. That's why these videos make us feel happy. Till we're able to travel there one-day hopefully 🙏
I've been watching your videos and like them, but why do you walk in-between people instead of stepping to the side? Also, you seem to come too close to people's homes.
Great question. I purposefully walk between people actually, like a bird flying around the city giving you more personal and up close experiences. This is not a reflection of my manners or how I walk around normally, but pursuing a more cinematic exploration of a city.
This definitely is not a fancy tourist town. However, the old narrow street with clean and tidy residents' houses and small stores implies the cultivations of a culture and its dignity.
This is what makes it so special. This is not Disneyland or some faux display, but an honest reflection of how everyday life looks.
The streets are so incredibly clean😍
This was such a relaxing walk. I really enjoyed the rain sounds over the rooftops -- was the perfect ambience.
❤❤❤

For Japanese, it's a commonplace landscape.

One thing that I see is there is no dogs or cats running around
No there rarely are any wild animals wandering around Japan. You have to go to Istanbul or Cairo for that sort of joy.
