  • Hello everyone! It’s been a huge pleasure walking in São Paulo, the most Cultural City of South America, and showing all of you our wonderful streets, museums and parks.
In this video, I walk in MASP, the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MASP), in Paulista Aveneu, on a Friday morning, after a second lockdown in São Paulo was lifted. MASP is one of the biggest and most important museums in Latin America. Its immesurable collection displays works by artists like Picasso, Van Gogh, Rubens, Renoir, Hieronymus Bosch, also featuring paintings by renowned Brazilian modernist artists, such as Cândido Portinari, Tarsila do Amaral and Di Cavalcanti. On the day this video was filmed, MASP was featuring an exhibition of works by the French impressionist Edgar Degas (1834-1917).
It's advisable to watch this video on a TV or in a wide screen platform, which will allow viewers to notice small details.
And please, if you want to know a place in Rio or São Paulo, suggest in the comments. :D
Thanks for watching you and Please like and subscribe :D

I am sure there are people who like art displayed in this open plan but I much prefer individual rooms (or enclosed areas) instead. One reason: it is easier to focus on a particular work or a group of related things. This museum is too visually dense and can become overwhelming.
