जिन संगीत फनकारों का आपने जिक्र किया सुन कर बहुत अच्छा लगा लेकिन इन सभी नामों के बीच में एक नाम जो तमाम बड़े संगीतकारों के होते हुए भी अपना एक अलग मुकाम हासिल किया वो आदरणीय चित्रगुप्त जी उनका एक गीत ही उनके स्तर को समझने के लिए बहुत है फिल्म ऊंचे लोग का रफी जी का गया गीत जाग दिले दीवाना

Javed Bhai,you are in the service of music in its purest form.Many singers come and go but all are far away from Rafi Saheb.Majority of female singers are jealous of his unparallel talent .No one can touch his level of humanity and helpfulness to new music directors and singers.

The generation is gone. I am fortunate to live through that generation and listened to songs of Md Rafi. Now various media, particularly UA-cam provides those earful soulful songs. Younger generations have a different taste. Whatever, Md Rafi will ever remain as unique.

Kishore Kumar के उदय के साथ फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में एक लॉबी ने काम करना शुरू कर दिया था mohd रफी जी को कम गाने गवाए जाए यह अवसर जब रफी जी विदेश में प्रोग्राम करने जाते थे और आसानी से मिल जाता था यह वोह लोग थे जो रफी को बेसुरा कहते थे परंतु सूरज की रोशनी थोड़े बादल जा जाने से कम नहीं होती रफी जी की आवाज और उनकी शख्सियत ईश्वर का संगीत प्रेमियों के लिए एक वरदान है
सर् अग़र हो सके तो मोहम्मद रफ़ी साहब रियाज़ करते समय का पल ,, घर के दर्शन,, कुछ सरगम गाते हुए के पल ज़रूर दिखये।।।

Duniya sirf gaane sunti hai , kisne likha , kisne music diya , yeh sirf shaukeen aadmi dekhta hai . Rafi saahab hi in music directors ko yaad karwa rahe hain .
Rafi Sb made SDB as hit music director in those days when Naushad, JK was in top. He given 1st hit to his son RDB as music director but he was kind of ill hearted person and involved in dirty politics to sideline Rafi Sb inspite of his most hits songs are from Rafi Sb during lat 60s and then mid 70s. When Rafi Sb became top again around 1975-1976 after Laila Majnu and other hit songs from LP & Usha Khanna. By then around 1975/1976 Rajesh Khanna era ended and RDB also went down with Rajesh Khanna and no producer use to give him work. Rafi Sb was became no. 1 by 1978 till his death. RDB has leaned to Rafi Sb to revive his drowned career during late 70s but LP, Usha Khanna has taken his place by then.. RDB had fallen in mental trauma due to his fall and he lived alone during his last days.. That's the lesson for those who shows arrogance and not grateful to those who have helped him be a music director then God does not like those people..

@@rameshsundriyal6052 Rafisaab was not favourite of Salil ch , Anil Biswas RD . He was favourite of Jaidev ,Khayyam SdB , Naushad , Ravi , SJK, LP ,Madan Mohan.Swapan Jagmohan.

Aneez bhai mentioned a couple of times that Rafi sahab became idle for 10 years.. which is not true. From 1971- 73 he sang less number of songs and after that he became active and after "Parda hi parda" he began to run parallel to Kishore .. and produced magnificent songs till he died
Javed sahab , pls do not call them as " chhote chhote " music directors. They were not widely known that was their drawback.

I doubt the news of RDB saying that he didn't care about Rafi Sahab. In his peak time, RDB preferred Kishore kumar over Rafi Sahab - but he used to use Rafi sahab all through his career. For example, The train song, Hum shakal songs, garam masala, all Nasir Hussain films (probably NH liked Rafi sahab more than other singers), Shaan,, Burning train.. etc.. In top 10 songs of RDB at least 3 - 4 songs would of Rafi Sahab's ( chura lia, kya hua tera wada, teesri manzil all songs) and my favorite "Tumhe dekha hai maine gulsitan me ( no other singer can express the way he did)
