Finally..finally, I hear an influencer say that Colorbar powder foundation is more pigmented and affordable than MAC powder foundation. I cannot tell you how glad I am. My MAC powder foundation is about to finish and I have replaced it with Colorbar one. @@xesak6624 I am NC25 in MAC studio fix powder foundation which is my exact match. I am fair with neutral undertones but golden undertones also work for me. I purchased shade PF2 in colorbar powder foundation and it has just a little pink undertones but it works for me. PF2 shade is my exact match. I could have gone a shade lighter for a brighter look but I have dark circles which turn ashy. I don't do colour correction while using powder foundation, so, that's the reason for choosing exact match. I hope it is helpful for anyone who is in my skintone.

@@sanafatima7188 Go for Colorbar powder foundation without hesitation. I find it better than MAC one. First of all the price is one third of MAC, the formula is velvety as compared to powdery formula of MAC and I feel it gives more coverage than MAC. The con is only one that it doesn't have space to keep sponge or puff applicator and the applicator that comes with it is useless. If that sounds like a dupe then it is a dupe.

Colorbar is definitely a good option, provided we find a shade match for ourselves… I had tried all Indian brands b4, but never found even a close match for my skin tone ,had to always select the last option in each brand and none were even close to my skin tone 😕… until I found MAC studio fix plus foundation… obviously now we hv better n affordable options … so definitely just like u said ,can try Colorbar if shade match is available ☺️😊

Do i have to apply the concealer before the powder foundation as i have a lil dark circles?? I feel like applying anything liquid on top of it makes it patchy??
I think the colorbar side looks a bit more fresh, probably due to the undertone. Can I apply this to set the concealer undereye? Does application by a wet sponge make a difference? Does this oxidise? Do I need a setting spray after applying this? Omg so many questions 🙄. But these just occurred to me while watching your video. Video was amazing.

I did get the lakme powder foundation hoping it wud be a great dupe for the mac but it dint give me the coverage my pigmented skin needed. Sud have waited for ur video😛.lesson learnt
Great comparison as always! Sadly- so many shades of these products are almost always out of stock. Do share other medium to high coverage powder foundation (or alternatives to Mac SF Powder) available in the Indian market! I’ve been looking for one for almost two years now and nothing even comes close to the airbrushed finish that gives me. Don’t want to spend that much on a product I use every day (and several times). Do consider!

@@kabitajain1527 Loose powder is better coz we may have fine lines under the eyes and loose powder doesn't exaggerate those and gives flawless finish. Whereas, powder foundation can exaggerate fine lines, can even dry out under eyes. In short, loose powder is a boon for mature skin and for those who have fine lines under their eyes coz no one wants to look old. Hope it helps.

You can use maybeline 24 hr stay foundation its sweat proof goes well for oily and combination skin. Use translucent powder after foundation.

I bought Mac studio fix powder plus foundation,but what the youtuber says didn't seem like it at all to me.I found chambor's powder foundation better than this,which gives better coverage than mac to me.But now that has been discontinued,since then I'm searching for a similar powder foundation.Now I think I should leave mac studio fix nd try Loreal or colorbar powder foundation.

Colorbar is really a good option but as for me I think it stands no where near Mac studio fix! I mean I have used both and the way Mac blends into my skin it’s like my second skin but better. Of course when I need to see a more affordable one colorbar can be taken into consideration! Studio fix is a holy grail Mac product and I think it’s really difficult for those who are using Mac to switch to any other product…
