I don’t give a frogs fat arss about Boz. He’s weird. Prefer zero gymnastics as those events have NOTHING to do with being the Fittest on Earth.

I love this behind the scenes look, honestly before this I wasn't the biggest fan of these 2 events with the skills challenges because of the confusion, but now that you see it being clearly explained and briefed in detail it makes so much more sense. Maybe they should make a smaller demo/briefing also in advance so they can show it better to the viewing audience on the livestreams

Agreed! I thought that separating ways with dave castro was a terrible mistake. And now, CF and Boz in particular made me see what was wrong and how it went tremendously better. Congrats. It was my favourite games from how the leaderboard was shaken up on day one to the back to basics or very original and exciting challenges line the coliseum or the max rep with heavy bag. Beautiful

No fair. Did not complete event should’ve been = DNF.
It doesn’t make sense for athletes that are below Lazar & Panchik that competed the event.
It is what it is… Bad decision from CFHQ

Seeing the montage of years past just makes me realize how much better the Reebok CF merch was. The NoBull stuff is so boring, just black, white and dark green. I miss the neon colorways.

Is it true that Dani Speegle knew about the jump rope crossover? I’m wondering how many workouts or movements she knew in advance- specifically the sandbag.
I heard on another podcast, Training Think Tank I think, that some athletes were leaked games info ahead of time. She was one of them. Not that it helped her much but I thought that was unfair to the other athletes.

Standards - left a lot to be desired. Inconsistent judging in every workout. For example, on the strict pegboards, several high profile athletes had their feet flexed so that their toes were assisting them up and down the pegboard (or used their knees), and the other athletes, those athletes holding themselves to the highest standard, pointed their toes down so they received no assistance. These problems are patently obvious when you see these workouts in person. I love CrossFit but until the judging issue is rectified and standards are held to a red line, the sport will never have the credibility it should.

Games as a whole was great this year. Always room for improvement. In a general explanation, so many of this years events tested athletes on execution but the events themselves were not executed well from a logistics set up and judging standpoint. It was the first year for Boz at helm I think he will only improve from here.
