I’ve never been big into the idea of Godzilla having a voice, but I have to admit, these fan castings are fantastic! As a big fan of the Heisei series and Minus One, the voices you cast for both respective Godzilla’s are perfect! 🤯
If Giant monsters like Godzillas could talk I Was told according to Ai Harappa when I questioned them this, they said that Godzilla would’ve resonated on the voice that Carrie’s commanding tones that demands respect, attention and Obedience, and that He would’ve exuded And Exhibited Sovereignty, Power, Authority and Strength. And could’ve been intimidating to anyone who hears them.
1954 was HILARIOUS. All compelling but I think the real perfect pick for Shin Godzilla is Ron Perlman. Shin is like a cruel god demanding blood; The Beast of Revelation ushering the end of days; an all-consuming evil. Perlman has a delivery that can make your every hair stand on end. Some of his Clayface dialogue is eerie, and the Lich from Adventure Time? That is one scary motherf@%&er.
The miss-characterization done with shin Godzilla hurts me on a personal level. I figured they'd be the hardest to get wrong. Considering they're the only one we've literally heard the voice of (uther than Showa)
8:14 there is actually a fan theory which makes a large sum of sense that Shin Godzilla is actually part female; so it would be very interesting to hear a female voice for Shin-G. This suits well for male, but Shin Godzilla is the only iteration which I personally see as female gender wise
If I had to give a godzilla the female gender role I dont see how shingodzilla would fit that. The closest thing to a female godzilla is zilla as she is seen laying eggs.
@ actually the theory originated from (I forget his name I’m sorry on that!) the original scientist who studied Shin Godzilla: his wife potentially passed away within the radioactive water and thus was assimilated into the still developing Shin Godzilla. Her entire story is told through “Who will know”; and the female vocals adds credence to the idea since the song might be from Godzilla’s perspective as well

They are very terrifying, so just imagine if it was attacking your city and standing tall just in the neighborhood, and all you can hear is the horrifying screams probably both from people and it. It would be purely chaotic terror like you lose the sense of what to do.
