With regards to all this talk about sexuality in Assassins Creed Shadows, it really isn't something that fits the narrative of the game and we need to ask ourselves what type of a story are they trying to tell here, this is supposed to be a game about Feudal Japan, so what we need to experience is what life was like back then, inserting modern ideology could really ruin the game and as you said, "I doubt that Ubisoft will manage to do that" which I agree with and if they can't do a good job it should be scrapped entirely because I have a saying that I have mentioned in many of my videos, "You can try and please everyone if done right or you can end up pleasing nobody if done wrong" thank you so much for watching and commenting 😁👍
I totally agree I’ve been waiting for so long for an assassin Creed set in Japan, and it’s finally happened but it’s terrible how people are saying it’s racist, and I agree how they chose Yosky he would’ve been perfect, because according to the story’s he disappeared, and his last location was at A church it would’ve sound, like he disappeared, because he joined the hidden ones alongside with naoe but honestly I think what’s gonna happen it’s gonna be like Odyssey it release no one like the game probably because it had nothing to do with the assassin brotherhood it releases season passes people finish the game and forget about it but for the band, they’ll get the game to ourselves with no more complaints. Everyone will be happy I’m telling don’t forget about it as soon as it comes out. Give it a year and don’t forget about it.

The problem is that this game is not a work of fiction based on Yasuke, but rather that a false portrayal of Yasuke and Japan was promoted as historical fact. This has made the existence of this game an insult to Japan. This game depicts Yasuke as a warrior who actually goes to battle. However, in reality, Nobunaga freed him from slavery and gave him status, but he did not go to the battlefield. He was not fighting when Nobunaga was betrayed and killed, and he was merely hired by Nobunaga out of whimsy, so he was overlooked and his whereabouts are unknown.
You make a good point but we need to also remember that Assassins Creed's have always had real historical figures in them, so the only difference is that now you are just playing as one, the mistake they made was saying their game is historically accurate when when AC games have never never been historically accurate. The thing about Yasuke is that there isn't much information out there about him so there is very little to work with when it comes to him but we also need to remember that it is just a video game and needs to be fun and interesting, so some exaggeration should be expected, thank you for watching and commenting 😁👍

It's not because the main character is black. They should have simply made an official preface saying that this is just a fantasy of Japan and has nothing to do with real people. In reality, the white creator of this game said that the Japanese were a barbaric race. It seems they don't know how cruel the history of white people is. Also, the kanji used is fake, but it was stamped with the word "gay."

I feel that AC shadows is too little too late, it's not the OG AC style that we came to love but we will see what AC shadows is like, all I care about is the modern day lol.

I'm perfectly fine with Yasuke he just doesn't make a ton of sense gameplay wise and I would've preferred someone like Miyamoto Musashi who is a historical badass
There are many people who would be a better character than Yasuke but He is an interesting enough character to make a video game about, He is special and his story is special, the only issue is that there isn't much information about him so there isn't a lot to work with but Yasuke has always been depicted as cool character so maybe people should just give him a chance, thank you for watching and commenting 😁👍

First it was 'historically inaccurate' and he was a retainer and wasn't a "real samurai", then after people who knew what they were talking about informed all of you that a "retainer" is still a samurai, then it moved to he wasn't a warrior and didn't fight, then after that we got 'it's disrespectful and racist', then 'well i just wanted to play as a japanese person', but since there's already a japanese person that became a japanese "guy", now the excuse is he can be in the game but he shouldn't in it anyways. Lol why? Cause you don't like it? He was a person that actually existed at that time period. Musashi wasn't even a man in the 1500's, he lived most of his adulthood in the 1600's.
