  • Hey!
    Time to play with serious strength!
    It's hard to understand how actually strong professional climbers!
    After 20 years of climbing your body becomes a rock!
    That's impressive!
    Hope you like the video!
    P.S. I still struggle with thumbnails and titles...
    Maybe better to say: Pro Climber ABSOLUTELY DESTROYS Russian Ninja or something!?
    😅
    Let me know!
    Appreciate you all!!!

      Hey Anton! Thanks for posting anyway. It's actually my birthday too, but with corona restrictions being kinda *ugh* I just decided to stay home (again), so I really appreciate some quality entertainment. I got some actual input as well, though. So first off, I don't watch your videos because I think you are "the strongest" but because I love your attitude and I just like listening to your comments. Secondly, Josh used A LOT of very specific technique and, to be fair, when you did the floating doors, he told you to keep your left hand high and you didn't listen ;-). Also, your "weight-to-finger-strength-ratio" it’s just not that of a climber. I mean, what can you say? That's not what you specifically trained for, is it? And finally, we all appreciate you sacrificing part of your physical prowess to give us content, but if you feel the need to spend some more time on training, I'm sure nobody would mind if your videos are not as flawlessly edited as they usually are. So get that beer you wanted and cheers, mate!

    I would never expect Anton to have a hard time with a course, and someone else could do it easier. But that is the thing, where there are always levels, even with top athletes. It is like I would see a chess player, that looked unstoppable, but then they get easily beaten by someone playing with a blindfold on.

    • @MobiusHorizons
      @MobiusHorizons 2 роки тому +8

      It's also that this course specifically requires levels of finger strength that are really only typical of climbers. Basically on this course Anton is unable to bring his very high arm strength and coordination to bear because he can't hold on to the edges.

    I went to David's after NNL World Championship 2020, during my 8hrs layover in San Franc before returning to Singapore. I must say it is anyone's dream come true to be training at ninja legend, David Campbell's insanely technical and tough ninja course. 👍🏻
    I'm very honoured to have been one of David's International Team teammateso, at Sasuke Vietnam 2016, and watching him achieve Total Victory! 🎉
    Looking forward to see you take on more ninja comps. 🔥

    David's been one of my favorites since the beginning. His ability to stay competitive for so long is astonishing.
    Josh has been my pick to next beat the course since his first season. I know there have been injuries and school/work difficulties but I still think besides Daniel he's the best bet. Hopefully this season.

      What about Joe or some of the teens? I agree though I think Josh might be the strongest of them all still

    • @SDesWriter
      @SDesWriter 2 роки тому

      @@sosis2377 The teens are a gimmick. When you have kids that are still growing their strength to weight ratio is going to be ridiculous. Comparing them to a 25-30 year-old is absolutely terrible. There's a reason that you've never seen a pro or former pro athlete even be moderately successful on the show. You can't train enough to do these obstacles at the weight even a baseball player has to be to be competitive on the pro level.
      Josh was among the best when he was a collegian and he's still among the best. He has had a couple injuries and had to devote time to school and life, but when he's back he'll (depending on the course makeup) be one of the favorites. If Sean can stay healthy then the top 5 is probably Daniel, Sean, Joe, Josh, and Rayl. There are a bunch who could challenge, but those guys have consistently been near the top every year and put up some of the best performances.
