These cars run like tanks. Only problem is a seal design fault with the spark plug cylinders through the valve cover. The seals break down and allow oil to pass down into the spark plugs…past the coil connectors. This causes cylinder misfire error OBDII codes and very rough running. You have to remove the coils, valve covers and spark plugs. Replace coil cylinder seals, valve cover seal and spark plugs. All good after that. Expect it to happen every 70,000 miles or so.

Agree with your statements. These are great cars for the money. We often see them still on the roads here locally with well over 200,000 kms on them .

No just a regular 4 speed automatic I do believe, not a CVT.
