However, I seem to get a combat bug quite often where my feign death isn't resisted as the mobs switch targets from me to my pet, but I remain in combat so can't place a trap. Initially I had this happen when I was level 42, so I put it down to FD resist and thought I might just be too low level, so I went and leveled up to about 46 and came back to try again. However, after a few successful runs I suddenly had this bug again in one run. I feigned, the mobs switched target to my pet but I was still in combat. I healed pet, mobs back on me, feigned death, still in combat but mobs targeting pet, healed pet, etc... repeated this about 10 times and not once did I get a feign death resist yet each time I was still in combat and not able to place a trap. In the end I got so pissed off I just reset the instance. The next run I did everything worked as normal. I have had it happen a few more times to me since, but I have no idea what causes it, the only thing I can do to sort it is to reset the instance and try again.

Hi! Great video. Any recommendations for getting the trolls to clump closer together? I'm finding FD not working consistently because I can't keep the mobs all 40+ yards away at once.
Hello! I've been trying the normal multishot farm, but would like to trap this explosive trick but I can't keep the aggro on myself. As fast as I FD I lose all my aggro and my pet would have to run up to Cower a mob which means it just gets pounded and die and I can't repeat revive>FD>trap>revive
You may have noticed that at the beginning of the fight, he attacks one mob, to be sure. And further after the FD, he uses the pet's treatment to take aggro for himself. I also think using the howl will do to get the aggro for the wolf at the beginning, thus introducing it into the battle.
Long shot that you see this comment, ive watched this video in the past... but now with the wow fresh coming up soon I'm curious if this method still works. I'm sure it does, but don't want to bank on some random change they may have made to cower or some bs years ago ya kno. This method should still be fine you think? Also, do you really think it's worth coming at 40 and is consistent enough
It works, there's a better way of pulling that doesn't need cower, but you need the pet not to die It you got dynamites, maybe, but 42 is safe, 44 is new explo rank and that's when you really start getting exp Cower is only needed if your pet dies, but you can pull all mobs from evade spots, then run pet in behind the urn and spam follow so it teleports to you when on the wall Also if you son without cower, you need to hit one scarab to aggro it, to then social the rest, just mark the one pet hits to pull then single target it down before feigning traps Its faster without cower because 1 tick of mend pet will overaggro mobs rather than 2 having to wait for 2 ticks (threat will be divided among all) - but its okay backup
@@zeroji1326 Wow, thanks for the response, I've been binge watching your videos the last couple days. I noticed 44 being new rank of explo trap, I figured 40-44 kill phases being around 20 minutes or less based on grouping and personal efficiency of trap CD. In this upcoming fresh I'd love to go right at 40 subverting the need to save for mount money as you'll make more than enough in ZF for it later. The Urn you're referring to if pet doesn't die... are you talking about the urn you reset behind after first pull of zombie graves? I toyed with an 11/0/20 build for level 40 with Bestial Swiftness, Clever traps, trap mastery and imp feign death since I figure scatter is probably just convenient more than anything to get to GY. My major concern is respeccing right at 40 and it being "inefficient", I guess. Same rank of explosive trap so why do you say 42 is safe vs 40, more significant inconsistences with trap resist and feign issues maybe? I also understand most of the mechanics you're mentioning in your response, but it's hard to picture it in my mind. Cower is only needed if your pet dies... so, in your video I see you cower once to establish threat on the table and then you can feign max range>trap>mend to re-establish threat... so is the time savings not needing to rez your pet and needing to use the pet global to cower to begin with? Sorry for the lengthy response, I just want to understand everything I can about this because it looks like something I really want to pursue in this fresh as this is obviously quite different from the mage method :D Also does any rank of cower accomplish the same thing I assume as long as it hits?
