Excuse me, but I saw the first two minutes and I could cry !!! It seemed to me, that you don't respect the knife with all your working tools. I can't watch this anymore ! It hurts to much. 😑
I get these videos recommended to me by UA-cam so often and it always makes me wonder how so many people just find these totally ruined, yet completely restorable blades. Are you guys magnet fishing? Do people send you junk that they find so you can make these videos? Or are the pieces intentionally ruined for the sake of making this content?
Well, let's start with the obvious. That is not a Japanese knife. Japanese craftsmen do not glue the handles on, they also use wooden pins not threaded steel. Restoration, this word starts with restore, RESTORation not destruction. Why did you start by destroying the handle? I'm sorry to be so negative, if I were you, I would be watching other more experienced restorers to learn the correct way to preserve the past and not make old things look new. 😎

Намеренно испорченные. Азиатские каналы калечат собак чтоб делать ролики как они их выхаживают и заботятся после. Это хайп.
It's beautiful!
So close, then ruined with the lacquer and mismatched pin.
Un trabajo muy fino Artesano!!!. Saludos desde Uruguay.

Destroying original and almost fine handle scales. This is NOT a restoration even if the tanto is of no value, which is not. 😮
I would like you to recommend with Ali SS chanel.😂😂😂
Сколько лишних движений. Зачем?
