As a Celtics fan Im always gonna say the 86 Celtics are the greatest team of all time. But have to admit that the 83 Sixers do not get talked about enough as the greatest team ever. Just unstoppable from beginning to end in 1982/83.
Bird's career may have been shortened by injuries, but, in a way, he gained a couple of years at the beginning by being a "seasoned" great player from day one.
Birds stats all came in the flow of the offense. He could've easily averaged a triple double at the sacrifice of the teams success and chased stats like players today.

Averaged 20 and 10 out of the gates!
I love when the commentator calls McHale McClain
I was wondering who McClain was. 😄
Young Larry when he could still move was something else.

The Legend was automatic

Does Bird even hit the rim in this game ? Everything is just a pure beautiful spectrum net kinda swish !
No, I don't believe he did hit the rim in this game. Bird was ridiculous.
Bird = annihilation of modern NBA
