I feel that it is easy to look at what other people are doing, then suddenly feel dissatisfied with your own job/lifestyle that you were actually okay with. Had one not compare, they might not have felt that dissatisfaction, then suddenly think what they're doing isn't enough, when actually it is probably fine.

Being fit and being healthy are actually 2 very different things. A very healthy person usually is someone who eats well, have enough sleep, but in terms of exercise, he/she might just be walking a lot , thus have very good blood circulation. But not enough strength to lift heavy weights, sprint fast or run long distance. Example my grandma is very healthy, but she can do all those physical exercise.
While being fit usually means someone who has great strength, strong endurance. Example, boxers, fighters, wrestler, are super duper fit. But they are generally not healthy as they have injuries all over their bodies. Some take drugs to keep up with the fitness.

No side hustle, prob nxt time but no pressure. I guess the most impt thing is tht ur happy n ur lifestyle, priorities. E.g. for me is balance, free time and family..work is jus work enough can liao. Having time to spend time with grandparents, parents is impt to me also as i feel that we'll never get that time back no matter how much we woek and hustle. But then to each their own, don't compare as you'll never compare finish haha. Just you and youe own journey 🙌

They all got the wrong definitions of passive income... 😅 Your side hustle isn't a passive income, it is active income. In the olden days, we call people with side hustles unfocused and jack of all trades master of none. Today it seems the more side hustle you do, the more glorified it gets. 😂 What happened to hobbies? We also used to think that people with a lot of hobbies are well developed individuals, today i barely hear people talk about having a hobby just for the fun of it. All hobbies seem to turn into an intent of becoming a side hustle.

    not a bad watch..
the part where joey talked about her being a yoga instructor and it being 'inclusive' and 'different people can be fit in different shapes' was a bit parroting of the woke religion stuff lah. you alr said you weren't healthy and drinking lots of vanilla coke. means you were representing an unhealthy average person alr mah. let's not call it representing fitness.. just say relatable lah. we fat fat so we like to see other people fat fat is not the same as saying we FIT FIT

Hi! Thank you for watching the episode :-)
I meant to highlight that fitness can be represented in different shapes, sizes and ways. A misconception of being fit is that it requires a clean, “restrictive” diet all the time.
I personally think that the occasional unhealthy indulgence is totally fine, as with everything, moderation is key.
We all gain and shed weight differently- someone who drinks vanilla coke everyday could still present in a lean body.
All in all, being fit looks different on everyone and we don’t know the effort someone has put in (or not) to get to where they are 🤍

      @@joietan
being fit and healthy does not require a clean restrictive diet all the time, yes.
the occasional unhealthy indulgence is totally fine, yes.
but let's be really really clear ok..... drinking vanilla coke every day? is not just not a clean restrictive diet, but is an unhealthy one. it is also not an 'occasional indulgence'. if you're a teenager, maybe I can give it to you that your body will process everything away. but not when you're past that age. of course fitness can be represented in different shapes, sizes and ways. but let's again be very very clear - someone who drinks vanilla coke every day presenting in a lean body is not living a healthy lifestyle.
of course fat-fit people exist btw, and it's very obvious that they are healthy. you can sort of see the muscles beneath their fat (lol), and it shows in the way they move. so that's not really the issue here. (this comment isn't targeted at you) but it's a little bit scary how you can see a lot of body positivity people who aren't fat fit but promoting just being fat.
