LOVED this!! Please, please do a planner video! I live in East Yorkshire in the U.K. and, although I live alone, I still need a command centre, just for myself. I have it in the kitchen, because I have nowhere else for it to go. Subscribed! Xx
I have a grocery and meal list on my fridge and my husband has a calendar posted in our bedroom. I think my first step will be to combine those into one area. And I love your frame and dry erase idea! That could be a lot less wasteful longterm and look nice with your fun custom designs! Having the calendar in a more public area will also help us to remember important things coming up like father's day and my sisters birthday right around the corner!
I only have bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room in my 1 bedroom apartment 😊... So, no perfect place, but I've been trying to find a good place for a command center for over a year now, because I'm very executive~function~challenged! I love your energy and thoughtfulness as a person. Your family is so lucky to have you!
I've been wanting to set up a command centre but I just don't know where to do it. We have a small open concept home and our door goes right into our kitchen. We have hooks on the wall and a shoe rack right beside the door, but the kitchen table is so close to them that you can't get to the shoes if someone is sitting there. The only space we really have is on the door itself. It's a metal door, so we can magnet things to it, but I don't know how secure that would be. My son is autistic and almost a teen so he needs a lot of help but wants to do everything on his own. I want to be able to teach him skills that will hopefully help him to be independent as he gets older.
I think everyone who shares tasks or calendars could use a communal space like this. but if the paper that comes into your home isn't overwhelming you and you're not missing important dates or bills, you might NOT need one!
I stumbled upon your video and really enjoyed watching it! You are a great speaker!!!
Thank you! I hope this helps you set up your command center-- and if you want more I've got a free workshop too!

So glad you subscribed and let's see.. maybe I'll do a planner video. (You mean like a personal planner? Made of paper or whatever?)
@@thebossyhouse I use a paper planner, but I'd love to see whatever systems you use! Xx
Setting up command center for 90-something parents & those of us helping them. THANK YOU! 💞💜💞
Oh I'm so glad this helps!
Great video, now I’m starting to think about where I might put a command centre in my (lovely but somewhat awkward) home.
Thanks! I've seen some GREAT command center locations in weird/awkward spaces.
Such a great video! Glad I stumbled upon it!!
Honestly don’t know how you don’t have a huge following!!
Thank for you for the inspiration!!
Aw, thanks! I'm really new at this so here's to trying new things!
Great video. Thanks. This is probably the best explanation of a command center I've ever heard.
awwww thx

Love your ideas. Yeah, I’d get any of this out of the bedroom if you can. Combining it is KEY!

Do you think everyone needs a command center? I can’t find a reason for one for me though it looks nice.
