The problem with Lebron fans is that they will acknowledge Lebron not having help in Cleveland the first 7 years of his career but then ignore him having help the last 14 years.
Last I checked, 14 is 2x greater than 7 so Lebron has had help for the vast majority of his NBA career.

I think the reason he wants a 3rd star right now is different than in previous years because he’s about to be 40 and he’s playing maybe 2 more seasons while he just got bounced in the first round and he & Davis were very healthy this year. If they run in back with mostly the same roster I think they miss the playoffs because those two won’t be healthy the whole season and even if they’re they just don’t have enough that’s clear and Lebron is going to regress significantly at some point

Lakers don’t need a superstar they need a guard who will run in transition to pick up easy buckets during the regular season and most importantly they need a true center so that they could move AD back to the 4 because he’s being wasted offensively playing center

Yeah that’s true, he is older but we always hear he is still elite athletically. People rave about him averaging so and so ppg and such. So if that’s the case, he isn’t your avg 40 year old who’s broken down and decrepit. Furthermore, this has always been the case with Lebron. Even when he was young he needed an exorbitant amount of help.

They simply aren't better than the top teams in the west. They won't be an 8 seed upsetting a 1 seed. Their best bet is becoming a top 4 seed and hoping for an easy path.

LeBron will be in year 22…the fact that people think that needing another star to compete in a loaded west diminishes him in some way proves he’s the GOAT. No one has ever had this level of expectation placed on them.
