That should scare people if you were born into some sort of luxury and think everyone covets or envied that you are wrong the street is what made Mike tough. This clip is so relatable to my life, not a bout in boxing but a 2 and a half year court battle for residency for my son to live with me. To me personally it was life and death. As an amateur boxer in my teens I was taught persevereance, discipline and confidence. Just like mike said only through love will he be enabled “To rise to my highest potential” and “There’s nothing I won’t do unless there’s a possibility of me being humiliated”. The art of war comes in many forms mental physical life is a battle... once you understand these skills and hone in on them you will comprehend the actualisation of greatness. Belief in oneself/confidence is one of the most influential and powerful traits I’ve grown! Always hungry for more... never settle... never surrender... I’ll die first
Edit: I went on to be successful in court and won residency, then I went on to university as a mature student aged 29 after my immediate succession in family court. I achieved this and gained a degree.
And now in 2021 I’ve moved on to study a masters which is where I’m currently at, I’ve also started boxing again 3 times a week…

Hard training, hard work, unwavering focus brought you success in the boxing world and in the entire world (greatness) but love was missing in your life on this path of destruction...you felt in your heart and soul that greatness wasn't making you necessarily good and you had this goodness in you longing to express itself...and so you embarked on this personal journey to find goodness...And you know what, dear Mike? You found what you already had in yourself, deep down in your heart but that was crushed by the terrible violence and child-endangering circumstances of your childhood. You had buried your goodness but it was still there in you, deep down, hidden and covered with pain. And it now comes out and that's fine, let it out. It's the biggest treasure of your entire life. That's why we love you, Mike.

Wow... I mean wow " why can't I just live in peace all the time? Because that wouldn't be living Life" or something like that but either way it just hits on so many levels and questions. I love that guy.. " not because I have same last name either " but because he's so real and has always been. You can here the pain in his voice about how he feels for all the pain he has caused to people mainly thru boxing but also before he was famous. This world for many especially myself is truly hard to face everyday but hearing Mike choking up about how he lost that fighter spirit feeling empty and thinking people see him as a bit$h just hurts. He doesn't have to prove nothing to nobody even if he never became champ, like that guy said at the end about because Mike is willing to share in sights on his life, inspiration is almost not enough of a word to describe how much is means to people. I truly wish Mike the best and he stays strong on his path of peace and to hell with jerks that don't wish that for him, people fight everyday and most u can't see be it physically mentally or spiritually. Please encourage Compassion Respect and Love, stop seeing it as signs of weakness but as hope for Humanity.

I watch his videos everyday I feel the same way I'm just average Joe but went through phase working out got far but bad came with it bad label reputation drugs alcohol suicidal trying be humble I know how he feels I let myself go diagnosed all these disorders my anger depression using drugs alcohol to numb was brain surgery linked low self esteem I can't say I'm back but watching a legend come back is my motivation.. ppl judge I don't forever a legend keep going tyson your best you say Ali I think he was great look up to him you were the best I stopped watching boxing come back so gives me motivation to live on and grow like you are and not keep trying take an easy way out. I'm clean and sober still feel like nothing and I've never accomplished nearly what you have but know good person id give my life to somebody who wants to live hearing your videos way downgrade yourself your a legend heros get remembered legends never die.
