I didn’t see the film because the novel was the very first book by this author that I read. I was so engrossed in the story that I could barely put it down in order to get dressed and go to work. I went back to the very beginning to read The very first novel in the series and have read every single one ever since. Bravo, Jo Nesbo👏👏👏❤️❤️👏❤️

Looking forward to seeing Michael Fassbender play Harry Hole, Fass always gives 100% to everything he does & I know he'll do Jo Nesbo proud! 👌👏⛄❄😀

Mr Nesbo, you should have sold the rights of the Snowman for a TV series, not a movie. 2 hours it's not enough to develop the characters depth and full length and complexity of the story... It's a shame that the film turned out a to be a massive flop. Sell it to netflix. It's never too late.

It's a bit unfortunate that the production limitations resulted in an editing nightmare of a movie. That said I'm not sure if the script/direction they went with to adapt these books was particularly good either and a) took itself a bit too seriously and b) probably wasn't ever going to be able to develop the characters in a proper way. A TV series is probably the way to go.

He should have stayed reluctant to have his novels adapted. They are so good and the movie is SO bad.

      Fincher should have directed it

One cannot blame Fassbender for the way this film turned out. He is the only good thing it, as always. The producer and the director should have been shot for messing the script up so that nothing makes sense. Actors act their parts and go home. It is up to the producer and the director as well as the editors and naturally the writers, to pull it all together so that it works. If it does not work the blame is not to be put on the actors.

I think Val Kilmer was pretty good too!
