Patti has always been herself. I love that she didn't see as much as Dionne, Diana or Gladys but she made herself a superstar anyway!
This is one of my all-time favorite LaBelle songs, it's also kind of sad, when you hear them perform it, I'm very reunion in 2008, the way she holds both their faces when she sing it, she absolutely murdered it at the beacon theater, and good intentions, with another one, other than that my two favorite songs was what can I do for you?, lady marmalade, oh and I got two more, can I speak to you before I go to hollywood, and system okay that's really it now, go back and check the songs out, oh s*** one more night birds

My Fav.!!💕 My Mother introduced me to Patti’s music when I was 11 years old (Influencer lol). In my 20s, Mom invited me to join her on her B’day at Patti’s concerts. Together, we have enjoyed watching her perform over the years on stages in different cities…kicking off shoes, making bird flying gestures, and giving us pure hair and wardrobe vibes. One of My most memorable moments tho was taking Mom to see Patti on the main stage at the Essence Music Festival in NOLA. 💕
