Hi Ridterranytofollowtruth. Thank you. It's great to get good feedback. Thanks for subscribing and good luck with your turning projects. Cheers. Andrew
Hi Dunc. Glad you like the videos and my work. If you need any info on the lathe, just get in touch and I will try to help. If you live near Tadcaster you are welcome to call round and give the lathe a try. Cheers. Andrew
Very very good Andrew. Now I'm not one usually for colouring wood but in this instance I do like it. Being super critical though I would only have gone for the gold and not the silver. Not because the silver didn't run as well as the gold, I just think the gold was enough. Surprised the jaws only have a speed of 600, that is extremely slow for jaws that should be strong and grip well, not like they are like cole jaws. On the Yorkshire Grit, you only need to sand to about 220, that's the point of YG, it saves you having to do so much sanding. Well done!
Hi Paul. Good point about the 600 max rpm I mentioned for the RP62321 jaws. Not sure where I got that idea from. Just checked the spec sheet and I can't find any reference to max rpm. I must have been a senior moment! Cheers. Andrew
Great effect, your very creative. I was just perusing through your videos and I saw Ollie, what a cutie. Are you on a little bit of land are you, or in the country? The pic with him looks like your in the country? Anyway I love all your different ideas, please keep them up. Cheers Sean
Andrew every piece is better than the last, and that's hard to say because they are all beautiful! Congrats! I just found out your surname is whale, well mine is Seal, does that make us the Marine Turners? Cheers Sean
Hi Sean. I have a Supernova chuck which uses Nova jaws which I believe are interchangeable with the G3. I also have some Record Power jaws that fit the Supernova. So, I guess RP jaws will also fit the G3. Cheers Andrew
Hi Ronaldo. I got the tealight holders from Snainton Woodworking Supplies near Scarborough UK, last year. I think they only sell glass ones now, but I think you can get similar ones from Olivers Woodturning UK for about 50p. Not sure where you can get them from eBay. All the best and thanks for subscribing. Andrew
