why did the presenter not use the white fill frame to keep the powder in? Prior to lifting the top orange cap holder give each cap a push to seal it down on the bttom half it will snap them in..

For those unfamiliar with him, you hear his famous Nutcracker Suite all throughout the Christmas season. Perhaps if a song was playing about girls kissing girls, or booties shaking on the dance floor, the audience would be more receptive.
Love the dramatic music. I just filled my first batch of size #0 Berberine capsules and it's a bit fiddly, but certainly cheaper to buy bulk powder and do it yourself. Nice toy, nice video!

This was a great video. I ordered this from overseas via eBay, and it works great. I did 100 capsules every 20 minutes or so, which is at least three times as fast as manually packing them. I can't give a link because it says that the item is no longer available. The title of the item was a cryptic "100 Holes Manual Capsul Filling Machine Size 0 00 000 1 Powder Filler Plexi HU89" from seller minseaa.

They are not going to be consistently filled and packed. Too much tamping too early in the process. They need to be uniformly filled before tamping. The first to be filled and tamped while others were nearly empty will be tighter packed. The last ones filled will be more loosely packed. Sorry.
Don't be sorry, you are correct. With a little practice you get these issues figured out. These 100 pill makers (most all ) don't pack down product as well as the smaller 24 pill machine. The nubs on the tampers are not large enough diameter, so when you pack down product the nub only punches down in the center of the capsule. Oh well... still better than filling by hand.. Idk..... My capsules usually come out pretty consistently at exactly/right around .4g each... But I guess I am kind of meticulous about it though , and I also weigh out exactly 42 g before and dumping the 42 g into the blue play it. regardless though these machines are pretty good!

I think I got the wrong size machine for the capsules I have, they don't stay in, always sliding out. I can probably get the next size up capsule and it would work. Otherwise, it would work fine.
For what it does its perfect, i make my own dehydrated green supplements from our garden and these machines are fantastic, 1st batch was flawless and took about 15 min to do, you could save a bit of time in the future by pre separating capsules and storing them in separate containers but all in all i found this to be pretty easy and less wasteful of filling materials.
Bro the reason they have the piece with the side walls is because you’re suppose to pour them onto the top with in on and shake them into the holes. You’re wasting so much fucking time putting them in one by one 😂😂 I could of had three presses in the time of this video

must newbie tips - veggie is best - buy separated caps from the larger parts - fully powderize (course salt will fail) - use large 1000 pill machines for speed
There is nothing about this that is 'new generation'. I fill 00 sized capsules with coarsely ground CBD hemp flower buds. Pure flowers are better and cheaper than any mail order CBD oil. My Cartwright brand 100 kit was less than $20 on Amazon. Should have tried this sooner, a 'pinch' or even a level 1/4 teaspoon measure will not be as consistent. Just the sketchy instructions were enough for me to figure this out before I watched a video but for most people you should watch a video first. 1 hour or so to clean and grind down 1/2 ounce of flower buds to fill a 1/2 cup measure, very tedious to pick out all the stems and seeds and use a little 2 inch herb grinder but I bet if you buy filled capsules all that will be in them. 2 hours for first use, with the video and practice you could trim that down to 1/2 hour. Even at $100/ounce the raw hemp capped yourself is far cheaper than pre-filled caps from hemp growers. I did not pack mine tight, you could pack in more but I wanted a level 1/4 teaspoon average portion.
You can get them online in shoppee app. Only cost 8 usd. Some even cheaper ones with plexiglass panels about 3 usd. Might work even better. I'm talking about Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia shoppee. Probably also on tiktok shop. Forget amazon😂
clicked on amazon link to capsule machine on 5/22 sadly they don’t carry any trays only “hand one at a time tiny filling spoon kits” Seriously? would take an awful long time. But they do sell the gelatin capsules and a ton of overpriced supplements compared to saving & making your own.
How come when I do this, I put the orange part over the caps, and when I flip it over, they just all come dumping out? Is it the size? I'm very frustrated and confused. If I offset the orange piece, and lock them in place, then i can flip it, realign it. But then when i press down, most dont fit together. A majority get crushed by the cap not fitting around the base. I have to individually press each cap on

I noticed the tamper "nubs" are not large enough in diameter to get a packed capsule. My go to is the smaller pill machine, it only makes 24 at a time but I like the results better.... IMHO
I got mine yesterday off eBay . There was a coarse black hair in it! Very unhealthy! So had to give it a thorough cleaning ! Anyway the directions on the paper that came with it said to tamper 8 times ! I done that and unfortunately the top caps wouldn’t go on .. they broke up and crumpled and I had to throw all the caps and powder out 😧😕 I’ll try again another time with your better directions 👍. Thanks for your instructions. I liked the idea of the baking dish to catch all the excess powder . Also had to watch very carefully how you cleverly pick out the wrongly turned caps by using a stacking method and putting them back .👍Ps not keen on the music though so turned it down while watching. Some nice easy listening music would be nice 👍
I use a tin cup about height of capsule and push down capsule until fully packed then put other end to finish and only takes about 10 seconds so I get 3 capsules under a minute to do as a serving every time I do my session.
@@desertflower13 It also depends on how dense the powder is. You can google "Capsule size chart" to give you a rough idea. The charts are a bit misleading though. It can be quite a bit less mg than what the chart shows. if the powder is very fine. Using a scale is the only way to know for sure. Lets say hypothetically your using very fine and very dry mushroom powder in size "00" capsules, it will hold about 333mg. Size "3" capsule will hold about 96mg. I only mention this because alot of people buy these capsule machines for this purpose.
I loved the music; thanks for that. Can't go wrong with Tchaikovsky and those who complained about it, why don't you learn to appreciate beautiful music or just hit mute and then stay mute yourself. You're revealing your ignorance if you gripe about the use of classical music as close to perfection as this is. Also thanks for showing how to use this apparatus; I just received mine from Amazon and I'll be making cinnamon pills later. BUT honestly I found it annoying that you didn't go ahead and dump out the whole bag of powder and fill all the caps as much as possible before beginning to tamp. You could've easily put the overage (not that you would've had much) back into the container when you were done. It just seemed like the way you did it, made the whole process lengthier than it had to be. This is not meant as a criticism but rather an observation. Still, well done and thanks because this was so helpful.

Gelatin is extremely hygroscopic (absorbs water from the air). On a high humidity day, you're going to see a lot more sticking.

Its fastest by far to use pre-separated capsules. I can now shake in 100 x 000 accurately in 2 minutes.

clicked on amazon link to capsule machine on 5/22 sadly they don’t carry any trays only “hand one at a time tiny filling spoon kits” Seriously? would take an awful long time. But they do sell the gelatin capsules and a ton of overpriced supplements compared to saving & making your own.

How many grams does this thing fill up 100 caps 1 gram or 2.5?
How come when I do this, I put the orange part over the caps, and when I flip it over, they just all come dumping out? Is it the size? I'm very frustrated and confused.
If I offset the orange piece, and lock them in place, then i can flip it, realign it. But then when i press down, most dont fit together. A majority get crushed by the cap not fitting around the base. I have to individually press each cap on

@@breakerbroke23 I know certainly they are the caps that came with the whole shells. But maybe I have the wrong size in the first place? I'm not home to see, but I'll have to double check if my pill capsule sizes are compatible. But they are the same caps that came with the capsules as one unit

@@jfalconredskins Ya it is weird about the capsule size, go up a size and it will work great.
Edit: atually that is strange, it was the size 0 I struggled with, and the 00 size worked well. So I'm not sure why you are having trouble with 00

I have one of these. I feel like the tamper doesn't do a good job of compressing the material.
I noticed the tamper "nubs" are not large enough in diameter to get a packed capsule. My go to is the smaller pill machine, it only makes 24 at a time but I like the results better.... IMHO
@@breakerbroke23 I'm in the same boat. 24 at a time is not nearly enough. I hope the manufacturers see this and improve their design.
After filling, I always push both ends of each capsule until they click, which effectively fills it.

I got mine yesterday off eBay . There was a coarse black hair in it! Very unhealthy! So had to give it a thorough cleaning !
Anyway the directions on the paper that came with it said to tamper 8 times ! I done that and unfortunately the top caps wouldn’t go on .. they broke up
and crumpled and I had to throw all the caps and powder out 😧😕 I’ll try again another time with your better directions 👍. Thanks for your instructions. I liked the idea of the baking dish to catch all the excess powder . Also had to watch very carefully how you cleverly pick out the wrongly turned caps by using a stacking method and putting them back .👍Ps not keen on the music though so turned it down while watching. Some nice easy listening music would be nice 👍

I use a tin cup about height of capsule and push down capsule until fully packed then put other end to finish and only takes about 10 seconds so I get 3 capsules under a minute to do as a serving every time I do my session.
First wash the entire thing with hot sudsy water!

you have to know how big the capsules are (how much they'll hold), in order to know that.
@@desertflower13 It also depends on how dense the powder is. You can google "Capsule size chart" to give you a rough idea. The charts are a bit misleading though. It can be quite a bit less mg than what the chart shows. if the powder is very fine. Using a scale is the only way to know for sure. Lets say hypothetically your using very fine and very dry mushroom powder in size "00" capsules, it will hold about 333mg. Size "3" capsule will hold about 96mg. I only mention this because alot of people buy these capsule machines for this purpose.

Every time I got to flip the caps onto the base they just fall out everywhere
you need to press them in, to make sure they stay in when flipped over.

BUT honestly I found it annoying that you didn't go ahead and dump out the whole bag of powder and fill all the caps as much as possible before beginning to tamp. You could've easily put the overage (not that you would've had much) back into the container when you were done. It just seemed like the way you did it, made the whole process lengthier than it had to be. This is not meant as a criticism but rather an observation.

Luca Alberghini the white powder blocker is an extra step you don’t need once you get use to the unit.

Sign of humidity. Wont happen if you put dessicants in the capsules bags the minute you open them.
