- I love taking idiots and making them fight battles with no strategy or logic but who needs that when you can just make more idiots to fight? This game is incredibly fun and I recommend it cause you can just get lost going level to level.

Quick tip if you're looking into skins:
Equipping Leaf Skins makes the unit a bit more cheaper, faster to produce, and controlling that unit makes them move faster. Best used on Miners or Sword/Clubmen because you can spam them both (Miners cost 135 and Sword/Clubmen cost 112) but you can turn any unit into spammable fast and you can possibly get 5 sword guys in the start of every round provided you have a maximum crown upgrade for your statue
Equipping Ice Skins, if you control that unit and attack an enemy temporarily slows them down and if you have enough archers, possibly freeze them and keep them there
The Savage Skin is best used on the Magikill, allowing them to move and attack faster.
The Undead Skin, i haven't unlocked that yet but i have a feeling it's best used on either the giant or the wizard because they can knock out three at a time and convert them into your own undead idiots. Though the Magikill is more soft yet can oneshot anything below spear guy health as long as you have maximum staff upgradrs
Vamp gives life steal and user small splash damage, probably best used on sword guys or giants for more survivability and they can stay in the fight a few seconds longer. Great for last stands and immunity to poison helps with the bonus missions

Not quite, the undead skins are made to counter zombies that arent shown in the campain. Vamp skins are best used on spartans to keep them alive, mages can be used with the lava skin, maximizes crowd control which the mages are good for. Can probably do the same with giants but vamp also works. U can also use the lava skin on spartans too if u can afford the healers who are special units and it will be even better cuz of its damage reflect
How do you not mention the lava skin on speartons? User controlling the unit gives a ridiculous overpowered damage over time buff. One user controlled lava spearton could solo 5 normal maxed speartons.

You'd be surprised. Though sending out sword 'men' as DF put it, as fast as possible is nice, they're cheap enough as is, so I tend to use camp or skeleton skins. I agree with you on the archidions, and the speartons, and I use either grass, skeleton, or vamp for magikill and giants. Grass evidently because they're cheaper, and faster to put out, vamp so they can get life steal, since they often take lots of damage, and skeleton, because A, you can have more then 50 units with it, and B, even more idiots. Skeleton skin, I thinj, is best for giants, because then uncontrolled giants use the earthquake ability. Either way, I agree with you

Having to wake up at 7am on a Monday after less than 5 hours of sleep? Definitely sucks. But having a new DF video to watch during breakfast makes it all better.
I feel like just as with chess, the miners should be able to deal the most amount of damage to the statue, if they can get to the statue at all, mostly because a pic-axe makes more sense to me as a tool that can damage a stone statue, rather than a sword/arrow/spear... you could even upgrade the miner units to be some kind of siege weapon, where a couple of them team up, reducing your income, to take a giant log or something to the statue, while walking with the log they'd be slow and therefore more vulnerable, but could then deal massive structural damage to the statue.
6 years late to say this on a video that the devs will never see but cool idea

Not sure if anyone already said it, but DF you can only HAVE 2 miners per deposit. Your miners were hunting down to the other side because your deposits were already full.
Can we take a minute to think about how much money DF spends on coffee a week just to play games for our entertainment

I love how DF spends so much money on coffee and has the simplest names yet complicated game plays
at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buff

tip: you can buy skins using gems, and they are helpful like for example, the leaf skin costs 100 gems and it makes your units cheaper, or the ice skin which slows on hit

This is such a classic. Loved playing this when I was a child.
Legacy campaign is clearable with only Swordwrath. It's nice how you can basically deny your enemy's economy by building 1 at the start of the mission and manual control it to kill the miners. Only mission 3 is not possible since you are forced to build an Archidon.
Btw, for those who want to farm gems/chests, go offline and do mission 1 repeatedly on normal after upgrading them to max. Skip the tutorial and build 1 more Swordwrath. 3 of them can clear the mission in 35-40 seconds.
3:14 bottom right is where you can follow the arrow and see where you can shoot + don’t over spam miners, there’s a limit to how many miners are on a single gold dep, (2 miners) so if you have like 2 gold deps and you have 5 miners, one miner is gonna head over to the enemy bases gold dep.

the club guys are really just early game defense, but they can deal pretty good damage when you upgrade them too.
The way he talks makes it clear that he thinks the AI actually plays by the same rules he does. This is sometimes not the case (though I admittedly don't know if it does or not for this particular game).
Best way to beat the game is to use a single swordswrath and kill all their miners while avoiding their own troops and then kill their troops. Then max out on miners and keep a swordswrath over there to kill the miners they try to spawn and win. Did this on insane difficulty without any upgrades and it worked all the way up to the 2nd last level.
Easiest way to beat this game is to max out the Spartan and take control of it kill off the one or two starting enemies and they'll run behind their base to shoot you just out range it running up on them if they try to come out while farming up a big ass army, makes it so the ai can't even mine
I find that the best tactic is to go for 4 or 8 wizards with max summon power. You end up with 20 or 40 free melee units, while the wizards bombard the enemy.

Best strategy that worked for me was probably a line of spiritans then Above the Rest of bunch of archers
tip: miners can only mine a rock that an other miner isn't mining. So that's why that some of the miners from the enemy had followed the attackers
Quick tip when you get further you want like 1 row of Spartans and then 3 rows of sword men and the the rest archers and also you want like 5 miners that’s what worked for me
You should really play doomdepths it's a free game where you get to kill idiots (monsters) and get lots of loot and enchantments it takes a second to figure out because there is no tutorial but its fairly simple but I really feel like you would enjoy it
Favorite statement “ This will be won in resources instead of power”
Here some tips:
Tip number 1:U should only buy 8 miners
Tip number 2:Control the units to deal more damage
Tip number 3:Open the chest to get perks or skins
Tip number 4:Use your diamonds in shop to buy perks or skin
One of the best strategy in my opinion is just spamming archers and sword men because you can overwhelm most enemy's
Tip for you from all the time I’ve played this game… probably way too much time playing… the Archidons are OP as hell when you fully upgrade them. Besides the first few missions where you don’t have them, Archidons can beat the whole game for you easily if you get enough of them built up.

Just a small suggestion if you get the nature skin for the sword guys their cost would decrease to 100 coins and their build speed would be increased by 25%

Ok so I un-ironically played this game for like years and I remember having everything maxed out with all outfits and all powerups
I would like to see DF play more RTS games like the one with a lot of cockroaches and some production simulators like factorio or mindustry

A tip at the final boss u get 1v1 it with sword dude like u go in front than back front back u know and he doesn't hit u than u win but the mini level after the final boss is harder than the final boss bc there are giants lot of giants
this is a game that was once you get the life steal skin for the sword wraths they can basically win the campaign for you on normal and hard difficulty
I think you should keep playing through the game because the end boss is super hard
I find the best strategy for me in stick war legacy is 4 speartons and as many archidons as possible especially if they are maxed out

Always use the archer in the mid if you are blind firing because you can hit the
Statue. ( don't do it if you can't defeat them cause they will spawn reinforcements)
also you should've have upgraded the archer to max first then level up the swordmans swords by one then upgraded the spearmans but your the one who's playing

If you come back to this the glass cannon sword and bows are best if you do the zombies them bows and shields are op

Its runny really. DF has no idea how difficult insane mode is. I used 3 of 4 of my golden giants, which says something. I was tempted even to use the 4th. Even with skins aswell. Just all in all, very difficult

You should try out medieval life it is a mobile game it's really fun and requires some, but minimum stragies and is ez to play and understand plus it would be really cool to watch u play it

Day 18 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi idle game with a lot of depth
p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise
