My wife kept complaining that her bike was too quiet, so I replaced it with a Vance and Hines slip-on exhaust. Revzilla www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/v...
Your reaction to the sound not doing this justice over the camera microphone is hilarious. This exhaust had me headed immediately to Target for earplugs just to be safe! Hilarious video, this exhaust is no joke!!
That's exactly the muffler I'm getting for my new CMX 1100. I'm picking it up this week (hopefully) from Central Florida Powersports. Salesman, Chuck Matthews. Really nice guy. He goes by the nic-name "old school". You gotta love that. I hope your wife loves the sound of that cool slip-on. It sounded really cool on the video. Thanks.
«I don't know why i'm even whispering 'cause she's not even at home.» - Yep! Men do that when being stealthy without need.😁 Why can't you touch her motorcycle?😄 Well, that exaust did sound better than teh stock one. Nice buy! Greetings from Lusitania! And you guys have a great week! Stay safe.😉
Thanks for watching. She thinks I drive too aggressively so she doesn't like me to ride her bike. but any work that needs to be done, then it's ok. LOL
It's a shame the mic doesn't pick up the sound as well as it could but it still has a nice roar. I can't wait to join the rebel 500 club and slip on the Vance and Hines club hat along with it :D
Hey man thanks for watching. I do not think there is a db killer for this exhaust. I did not see that as an option when I ordered it. Even if there was one I wouldn't add it. Sounds great how it is.
The exhaust comes up just under pegs. She has an exhaust slider where the footpeg would go. A passenger could put their foot on that. However, I notice that a passenger's heel would most likely touch the exhaust.
@@ScottRidez I was looking at the rebel 1100. In Australia seems the pillion seat comes as stock here, but not there? Would really want to take a passenger. 2 brothers have a similar exhaust which states it doesn't interfere with the passenger. Hope the Vance and Hines is the same! Either that or a Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster..
@@ScottRidez Awesome. Appreciate your help. Certain country have strict regulations on the exhaust noise decibles output, like mine it is going to be a hassle if we get stop by the authorities.
You are 100% correct, but it has caught the attention of a few distracted drivers and may have prevented an accident. Nothing is guaranteed but I'll take any extra help I can get. thanks for your insight.
Im glad i never wasted money on an Engine guard. it makes to Rebel look silly. Plus if i crash my rebel it will be totaled and i will be dead. But for a female driver the engine guard will definitely come in handy.
I bought my wife a complete motorcycle. Fortunately she didn't want it, so now I've got it. (oldest trick in the book!)
Let's go Jonathan!
Genius!
"Now am I allowed to touch your motorcycle"
"NO"
lol another nice video
the sound is so amazing, I wish my wife could ride bikes
i`m kinda glad .. cause its my time

Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. Much Appreciated
A lovely bike with a lovely couple..

Thanks for watching the video. It's a great bike. Very comfortable to ride.
Great video!!!! Cute couple
Sounds great. Thanks for the vid...and making me want to spend more money!
I bought the same one for my wife as well. Day and night different 😂 btw it sounds a lot better though in person
Awsome dude.
Bought one from Revzilla just like it. But I haven't had time to put it on yet. Maybe tomorrow.
It is so easy. You will be done in 15 mins.
The bag on your motorcycle looks amazing. BTW I am looking for the rebel 1100 .thank you
Thanks for watching. Good Luck and have fun.
I think i got more excited than she did😅
I put the same one on my bike I love it and rides like A 650cc now too !
Nice, Enjoy the road. Thanks for watching.
Is it too loud on the road bro?
@@yacineaber2934 no it sounds so good
@@casandrawright746 thank you so much
Hi looks great , order one for my rebel as well, does it sound heaps different when riding 👍
It sounds a little different. When I ride behind it I can definitely hear it. I didn't realize how quiet that bike was until I changed the exhaust.
She's beautiful, the motorcycle ain't bad either 😁
LOL Thanks for watching.
Nice video. Do you know if there is a Db killer for this exhaust ?
Thanks

@@ScottRidez in the UK I can get fined for having an exhaust that goes over the dB limits, do you know what the dB level is of this one
If I put a pannier rack and bags on would this blow straight onto the bags? Looks angled up a lot more than the stock exhaust
Unfortunately, I think it may interfere with the bags. If your bags hang down any more than 7 inches it would be a problem. Thanks for watching.
@@ScottRidez thanks for getting back to me Scott. Think I'll go for a back rest and rack then. Exhaust is more important lol
Does this exhaust interfere with passenger foot pegs if you were to want to take a pillion? Obviously need to add rear seat too..

What’s the name of those brown swingup bags she has on her bike?
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTS2MNS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Do you know what's the decibels produce by the V&H exhaust?
No I'll have to check it out.
@@ScottRidez Awesome. Appreciate your help. Certain country have strict regulations on the exhaust noise decibles output, like mine it is going to be a hassle if we get stop by the authorities.
What is that battery tender set up? Is that a USB charger
Yes, it is an SAE dual port USB charger. Pain in the ass to install. The Rebel has no room under the seat to work.
I can also disconnect the usb charger and attach a battery tender if I need to keep power to the battery during the winter.
So now you're divorced? Or just promised to pay all her "excessive noise" tickets
Is it too loud on the road bro?
No it's not too bad. My wife hasn't complained about it.
@@ScottRidez awesome! Thank you Scott!!

LOL-Yes considering she has already dropped her bike twice.
