And to a portuguese speaker, English looks absolutely Simple and archaic (without anger, without prejudice) . And I'm learning German... I speak Portuguese, English and a Little bit of Spanish. German it's looking very easy, 90% words just look like Portuguese and English with other forms of writing, but phonetically almost identical, and I didn't find any false cognates until now.

Important to note: We brazilians don't tend to eat burguers as lunch. We eat them as boardgaming, social and dating (for some people) food, and as nightclub hangover food, or as street food in plazas and parks, depending on the meat quality. We have rice and beans for lunch, most of the time, with variable meat and vegetables, usually in 'self service' buffet restaruants. So it's not supposed to be a lunch. That's why you wouldn't be able to have one for that. The idea is to eat it with soda or beer, and spend the night at the place you are eating. It's usually what you eat before you go home, so that you drop in bed and wake late in the morning.
Knowing that might make it make more sense to you. Even if the food is similar, it doesn't have the same cultural rites, and that's really important. But the chef wouldn't be able to explain it with his english level (and it's ok).

Great video! Really enjoyed it. Just a small correction, english is actually one of the easiest languages to learn, there's little grammatical rules when compared to most languages.
People usually have issues with the pronunciation of some words, also because they're afraid to make mistakes, but that goes for most when learning a new language. Portuguese is way harder though, can't even compare!
As a Brazilian i agree, the struggles with English is compensated by the experience, the word stress is the worst part so far for me, however as i said the experience and patient can fix it

There’s a big part of me that believes Pedro added a little more to his burgers because he felt excited that you’re helping to expose his restaurant in such a positive manner. You both were very kind and showed interest to the Brazilian culture that anyone in the community would embrace you two for trying. Brazil is not that much different from the States, as far as food selections go. But you discovered most of the food is very generous and organic/natural. I’ll have to try Pedro’s restaurant. I wouldn’t say those are typical Brazilian burguers, but they are definitely inspired by stuff we have on our cuisine. The big one looks like our “X-Tudo”, which translates to “X-Everything”, a sandwich where we mjx all sorts of meat and ends up huge. But not as huge as the one you ate. The other one has farofa, which we eat a lot with dinner or lunch, but is also present on all barbecues.
In Brazil we love mix multiple flavors and textures, because this the meal turn's huge. Every food from the world will be a lot different in Brazil, like pizza with full of toppings.

In Brazil we call those burgers "Podrão" which rough translates as "Big Dirty" because you can't eat those without doing a mess. They have a lot of ingredients and usually they use a green mayo sauce that is homemade, here in Brazil that sauce is really loved but strangely enough, not a sauce that you can find in the supermarket.

This is the famous X-tudão my friend, best thing to eat late at night after parties and stuff. The original is served in food trucks of dubious origin and you eat on the sidewalk. It helps survive the next day hangover.

This kind of burger is what we call here in Brazil a X-Tudo (literally meaning X-Everything)... idk how is this man's menu, but here, you can choose what to put on your burger, its usually a street food sold on food trucks or those really tiny street restaurants... you can really put everything on it and its really good, but what makes its special is asking for one that suit you taste, cause there is aways a LOT of things to choose from, including the sauces. This one with Farofa was kinda unexpected for me cause farofa is good with a lot of stuff but makes food kinda dry, and on a burger which usually is a juicy food, i don't think it combines well

Wassup man, I was born in Brazil and grew up mostly here in LA. What you and your lady did by reviewing this restaurant is heaven sent to Pedro. There’s a big part of me that believes Pedro added a little more to his burgers because he felt excited that you’re helping to expose his restaurant in such a positive manner. You both were very kind and showed interest to the Brazilian culture that anyone in the community would embrace you two for trying. Brazil is not that much different from the States, as far as food selections go. But you discovered most of the food is very generous and organic/natural.
I’ll have to try Pedro’s restaurant. Thank you two for reviewing a Brazilian establishment, you gained a follower.

But in the video you referred to the burger as a "monstrosity," which I don't believe you meant to say as that word is a negative, used to describe something unpleasant or offensive to look at. this is a very specific burguer called "x-tudo" or in english " x-everything" they are popular on every burguer from your neighbour normally its for after long shifts on work that you want to spend less and eat a lot. It's tastefull but its a burguer that you eat once a year cuz theres a lot of callories on it. About the cheese from the barbecue one, that one its not a strong cheese.

I wouldn’t say those are typical Brazilian burguers, but they are definitely inspired by stuff we have on our cuisine. The big one looks like our “X-Tudo”, which translates to “X-Everything”, a sandwich where we mjx all sorts of meat and ends up huge. But not as huge as the one you ate.
The other one has farofa, which we eat a lot with dinner or lunch, but is also present on all barbecues.

In Brazil we love mix multiple flavors and textures, because this the meal turn's huge. Every food from the world will be a lot different in Brazil, like pizza with full of toppings.

They have a lot of ingredients and usually they use a green mayo sauce that is homemade, here in Brazil that sauce is really loved but strangely enough, not a sauce that you can find in the supermarket.

From what I understand, he wanted to bring flavors of other typical Brazilian snacks into his humburgies, but some of these ingredients are a reference to typical snacks here, such as kebabs, hot dogs (which include corn, straw potatoes), chicken with catupiry and The snack assembly itself resembles an x-all.
This kind of burger is what we call here in Brazil a X-Tudo (literally meaning X-Everything)... idk how is this man's menu, but here, you can choose what to put on your burger, its usually a street food sold on food trucks or those really tiny street restaurants... you can really put everything on it and its really good, but what makes its special is asking for one that suit you taste, cause there is aways a LOT of things to choose from, including the sauces. This one with Farofa was kinda unexpected for me cause farofa is good with a lot of stuff but makes food kinda dry, and on a burger which usually is a juicy food, i don't think it combines well

We have a burger called X-tudo (Cheese-everything), but by far the most popular are cheese-salad, cheese-bacon and cheese-egg, all of the have burger and cheese.

Queijo Coalho é muito bom, para mim que sou do nordeste do Brasil é muito comum o consumo de queijo coalho, diferente de outras regiões do Brasil, queijo coalho assado com pão francês (pão francês é um tipo de pão brasileiro, apesar do nome) é muito gostoso, se você tiver a oportunidade experimente.
