Hi doctor, my doctor suggested to take betamethasone 6 ml each day 24 hours apart [ in 2 days] . 35+4 weeks. I saw your video . Will it harmful 😢 . I have to deliver the baby on 7th nov possibly
They gave me a first shot of 12ml yesterday and I was exactly 34 weeks gestation (silent contractions + 1cm dilated) and they will give another 24h later -same dose- do you think that it is too late? Will this create long term issues for the fetus? Thank you for your response in advance 🙏
No, it’s to be given only when delivery is anticipated as in your case, so it’s not late. And even if delivery is delayed because you settle down, it’s ok. Best wishes
