Another Friday, another amazing Patron request, thank you once again Mr. H for one of the most emotional songs i've ever heard(if you want to get your request uploaded, check my Patreon Page or check the Tip & React Link) Thank you!
Jennifer Nettles has an awesome voice. She makes you FEEL the song. Check out Unlove You from her and other Sugarland tracks like Just Might Make Me Believe
Jennifer Nettles has the most beautiful voice of any country singer. You can just feel the emotion and anguish in her voice. For a totally different view of her talents, listen to "Stuck Like Glue." And yes, I can totally relate to this song .😢 thanks Teo for another of your great reactions ❤✌️
at the time of this recording, she was going through a divorce. Her husband left her for another woman and she decided to write this song from the point of view of the other woman. The producer wanted to try another take but her guitarist said this was enough. He didnt want to make her have to do it again
@@maryford4346 Nettles has kept private why the divorce happened. She has NEVER said he did or did NOT cheat. Stop defending him when you have no clue about what actually happened.
The song was written years before the divorce, when she was still happily married, and it was written in reaction to Reba's "When whoever's in New England", because she thought it would be interesting to write a song from the PoV of the other woman. However, by the time it came to make the music video, you are correct, she was going through a divorce (and as stated above, we have no idea of the "why" of the divorce, but we do know it was pretty hard on Jennifer.)
@@johncox7169 I am so shocked that rumor is still alive and well in 2024 LOL All anyone has to do is google it. It's all there in black and white from her words that the song just hit because she was emotional at the time. It was written long before her divorce but some people just can't let it go.
Jennifer Nettles is considered Country but she has a great bluesy tone to her voice. The song has nothing to do with her personal life - they won a ton of awards for this song.
Great reaction. Jennifer is fantastic. Try Chloe x Halle Tiny Desk. A sister duo with amazing voices. They perform their grammy nominated song from a similar perspective.

She wrote this after a messy divorce after catching her man cheating
She did not write it and she said it had nothing to do with her personal life
