I love save to sink. It is working for me. I use individual pages for my sinking funds but I still use the same system. It's wonderful to see the funds growing over time. At the end of the month I divide my money saved in half. Half of it goes in my sinking funds and the other half I pay off debt like the principle on my car. I am saving a ton in interest this way and still saving money for what I need.
I love watching your videos on my tv. So had to run to my phone to ask a quick question. When do you start saving for a sinking fund after you fully fund it? For example you have several holidays and bills fully funded already for next year. Do you wait til that holiday/bill is over with/paid and then start saving again for 2026? Hope this makes sense. My appeal to your sinking funds is that you have them done so far in advance!
Yeah, I usually buy myself the cheaper stuff and then I buy other people the more expensive stuff it never fails and then I regret it for instance my bed I bought a cheaper bed frame not happy with it so I think I’m gonna end up buying the more expensive bedframe which was only $10-$15 more seriously

Do you include the interest you gain from your high yield to the totals or what do you do with your interest?
I will have a Bucket video this week and I will talk about that ... Great Question
