Legit agree on the "pump up the vigor" point tbh. When I've found Elden Ring frustrating, it's usually been because there was some boss attack that I just had to learn, but to learn it basically meant getting killed by it immediately, and then having to do a lengthy run back before I get to try again.

Yeah man. For a NG cycle, for new players, it is 100% feasible to give yourself minimal stats for your weapons of choice, then stack Vigor and Endurance for armor and carry weight. It gives more chances to make mistakes and more opportunities to experiment with talisman mixes. For anyone wondering, it's called a Gouge build, and the first time I heard about it getting popular was in Bloodborne PvP because it frustrates glass cannon builds.

Something funny I found out about Ensha after digging several NGs deep, he doesn't give you any more runes on NG++++ than he does on regular NG. With Golden Scarab, he drops 114 runes *every* NG. Which only gets more insultingly small when it takes literally 1000 times that to level up once.
I decided when I got this game my first play through was going to be as Radahn. Other than being really slow attacking, and requiring a butt ton of stats, I loved everything about it.
you didnt ask about it in this video, but you did in previous ones and i wanted to share my theory about this. so the reason you need to kill maliketh and unbind the rune of death for the erd tree to actually start burning is because, even though the tree is on fire after you burn melina, it isnt burning. the rune of death is not part of the elden ring by that point in the game. because of this, nothing canonically dies in the game, and when things are killed their spirits return to the erd tree and are eventually spat back out. they dont die of old age, which is why the wandering nobles are all aggressive zombies. they are a gajillion years old and have mega dementia. by unbinding the rune of death, the fire that is on the erd tree can start to destroy it and the thorns that block you from entering. ooh also, i think itd be fitting to mention this, since this is the radahn video, but at the start of his fight, you can run backwards and he will skip his arrow phase. he'll like shoot one off to the side and pull his swords out to come fight you. im pretty sure i discovered this and thought my favorite elden ring youtuber should know about it :)

Have you considered another DS3 character run? I mean like Siegward, not the no-physick kind. Gael would be appropriate with the dlc coming up. You can grab the pulley crossbow from redmane castle and use Jerrens armor, and you could use Malekiths Black Blade Greatsword. I’ve mainly been curious about if a Greatsword with destined death beams is as consistently good as the dagger with destined death beams, but I’m trying not to start any new runs till the dlc comes out

I wish powerstancing worked like in ds2, you need to actually opt into the alternative moveset, which would allow you to block with your offhand weapon and attack with your R1/RB button I say this cuz paired weapons let you block when 2-handing, and I like being able to do that (cuz guard counter is fun and doing it this way might allow for powerstance specific guard counters)
You know... I think I figured out why you don't like spells. You're a much more aggresive player, prefering to just slap somthing to death while breaking their kneecaps. Man have stick. Man bonk. simple, clean, effective. Casting requires a lot more prep and set up while also knowing a lot more about resistances and how things work on them. Mixing them gives options and wider damage ranges while not haveing to rely on consumables too much. TL;DR: You're playstyle is fine, and works for you. I get it.
What can you say, high vigor + enduranceTank build is still the best build in ER. The metrics don´t lie ! Also it makes the game more fun and less punishing. No brainer to me. I personally like to combine some banished knight drip with the guts greatsword or zweihänder, slap lion´s claw on, already perfect +chef´s kiss+

Maxing out your defenses does effectively double/triple the number of hits you can take, so it's not JUST the vigor doing it.

For the great runes: have you tried Rykards great rune? You kinda don't need flasks with that, it's so good!

You're a much more aggresive player, prefering to just slap somthing to death while breaking their kneecaps. Man have stick. Man bonk. simple, clean, effective.
Casting requires a lot more prep and set up while also knowing a lot more about resistances and how things work on them.
Mixing them gives options and wider damage ranges while not haveing to rely on consumables too much.
TL;DR: You're playstyle is fine, and works for you. I get it.

What can you say, high vigor + enduranceTank build is still the best build in ER. The metrics don´t lie !
Also it makes the game more fun and less punishing. No brainer to me.
I personally like to combine some banished knight drip with the guts greatsword or zweihänder, slap lion´s claw on, already perfect +chef´s kiss+

interesting idea to use the 4 sword style in order to increase stance pressure.
As an amateur blacksmith, Iron is the element I'd want to bend the most! Or, I guess if it's show friendly I'd choose earthbending.

60 vigor + heavy armour + 15% bonus health from radahn's greatrune makes for a pretty good build unsurprisingly.
