Always interesting to see how you do things on this unique building process. Thanks Kirk.

I have to laugh, I was watching your video and my wife was in the next room, when I was done she says “what were you watching ?” I explained to her about the place you and your wife are building and she says “ I heard him say something about too much wood”. Hahaha yep ! We live in a log house that we built 34 years ago and we have pine log walls, v-groove pine interior walls and a v-groove pine cathedral ceiling because I loathe Sheetrock. We did put some Sheetrock walls in the living area down in the basement and I did that stucco look you are talking about. I am not a Sheetrock guy and that stucco hides all of my bad joints etc. Just felt like I wanted to relay that. Keep up the good work !

Haha we will have a lot of wood on the interior walls as well, mostly because we can mill it and install it ourselves. Sheetrock I would have to pay for and have someone install mud and tape if I want it to look good. We will be painting the wood white for the interior though. Hopefully it all turns out.
