How to Insert SOUND EFFECTS to Videos (and How to Find them) - Canva Tutorial

- Here are 3 different easy ways to insert sound effects into your videos in Canva, and 5 keywords to find awesome sounds in the Canva audio library (champagne cork popping, mouth popping, whoosh sound effects...). We'll be adding sound to a subscribe button popping out (and when it disappears, too), which makes it way more catchy and effective, and we'll also add a new section of our video with animation and synched specific sounds effects. I'll also give you. Stick until the end (especially if you'll be publishing your videos on UA-cam), because I'll also share with you 3 things you should know when considering working with sound effects in Canva.

Yes, it's important that you link your Canva and YT account to avoid getting copyright strikes on YT.

Unfortunately, Canva is not enough to achieve this cut out effect...
It's a combination of having a green screen in the studio, the proper lighting to make sure the ultra key process renders the best result and an experienced video editor in our team to make it all look good.

I don't get it about the licensing for the sound effects. Canva offers Royalty free music on their platform so why would we need to do that ending step to avoid a copyright claim?
By linking the accounts it let's UA-cam know that you are legally able to use the music because you got the license from Canva. So when you're uploading a video when UA-cam is checking for copyright issues they any music you've attached to that video will be "cleared" if you will.
If you just upload the music without linking the accounts, UA-cam will more than likely strike it because they don't know you have a license to use it.
I had to do the same thing with my epidemic sound account. Didn't know I needed to link them, and my best first video was strikes. Had to take the video down, link the accounts, and re-upload. Once I did that, the video was fine.

Look under the “Audio” tab and search for typewriter sound effects.

why my audio in canva is getting lower and lower the volume when dragging it?
Hi Diana thanks for this tutorial.Would you know if we can edit /splice/ trim the pro sound from Canva. If I need to loop a section of the song and use it at some point of the video. Sometimes I also use other video tools to edit sounds. Ive already connected my YT to my Canva Pro account. Thanks

We actually add these wavy transitions in Premiere Pro. But the designs are created in Canva.
Great video. I have a question though. I have a Canva Pro account. But I still do most of my video editing in premiere pro as there are limitations in Canva video editor. So, is there a method that I can use to download Audio effects from Canva, to use for the edits that I do in premiere pro?
You could probably export them as MP4 videos and split the audio from the video in PrPro.

For now, I am keeping an Envato elements subscription just to get some assets. But it seems Canva already has had many assets which I only discovered thanks to your videos.

How do you move a small sound effect? It won't move, but it wants to adjust instead.
For UA-cam, if we disconnect Canva from UA-cam after the upload, are we gonna have problems with the rights?

Do you have to upload the video to UA-cam with Canva to avoid the copyright claims. Or can I download it to my computer then to UA-cam? I guess linking the two, it wouldn't really matter where the video came from right? I use Canva to just edit snippets where I need animations like that but the video as a whole is usually too long to do entirely in Canva.
Hey Gina,
connecting your Canva account to UA-cam will avoid potential copyright claims on UA-cam. Which can be annoying if you are trying to monetize your videos. There is actually no way to upload to UA-cam directly from Canva at the moment, you'll still have to download your video and then go to YT to upload it natively there.

How do you do sound effects during your transitions
We do it with Premiere Pro but you'll get the same effect with what I showed you on this video :)

How can i open the audio only when i click on audio element ?!
You can play it by hovering over it I think. I'm not sure you can open it by itself though.
@@TeamRonDi Moving sound effects doesn't work in Canva. Only for a select few of them. This is why most people are sticking with other video editors. It's very frustrating.

Not that I know of. But there are a few apps for creating music based on prompts.

You can find all sorts of UA-cam button animations in Canva. Have you looked there? Once you find one that you like, add a sound effect to it and download as an MP4 video.
