Insertion of a Nexiva Peripheral Intravenous IV Catheter in the Adult Population

I don't know why, but I often have a hard time advancing the catheter in with these Nexiva IVs.

Our hospital recently switched to these. My coworkers and I are finding them difficult. I am normally good at IVs with the angiocath. I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. 😢. I am having a hard time advancing the catheter. I have practiced on the dummy arm with no problems. Frustrating!
