This is one of your best ever videos!! Like you, I sometimes get overwhelmed by the ever present push to purchase things. All the supplies in the world will not be of much help without the 5 essentials you covered today. Thank you so much for being the best ever content creators for preparedness.
When we moved to Snowflake, AZ I felt prompted to learn how to grow food in the high elevation Arizona Desert. I went through the master gardening program about 20 years ago. I know every area is different. I started gathering seeds, tools, fertilizer, containers, books, etc and grew a garden every year. I felt prompted to create a Facebook group about gardening for our area. A few years latter we were called on a mission to teach people on the Navajo Reservation how to grow and preserve food. We did this for 3 gardening seasons.
Thanks for these words of encouragement! After escaping the flames of the deadliest wild fire in California history a few years back, I opened my Bible and read Psalm 27, verses 13-14. " I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord, Let Your Heart Take courage again I say wait on the Lord." In Christ believing, JJ 🐕🦺😊✝️📖🙏
It's interesting you talk about listening to God. Just before the pandemic, I would do my weekly grocery shopping and I kept throwing in a package of pasta and sauce, or some rice, and a package of toilet paper, without even thinking about it. I then saw on the news about something in China and cruise ships not being allowed to dock. I told the hubby that something big was going to happen. I then stocked up on medicines and frozen items. I sure was glad I listened to the voice telling me to prepare as I was able to give family members items that they could not get.
What a beautiful word! This has been such an important part of my preparedness. Knowing that I am gathering my “loaves and fish” and praying that He will multiply whatever I offer Him- not only for my family’s benefit, but for others!
I'm a NP, God inspired me to learn more about holistic, and medicinal herbs so that I can help people in need. Pharmaceuticals are routinely in shortage, but God has provided plants for medicinal purposes. It's a work in progress, but it is my goal to become adept at using herbs for healing.
I’ve been a professional patient for over 44 years since being messed up in the military. My wife and I have been starting to do the same. I don’t want to be dependent on a system that very recently was more interested in agenda than the actual science that they swear they follow. If SHTF, my garden will be my medicine cabinet!
This is exactly what I’ve felt prompted to do too the past few years! 🙌 I’ve known for about 20 years through personal revelation that pharma is corrupt and that God has given us medicine through food and other plants and I have been increasing in knowledge how to grow medicinal plants and create medicine. God surely will show us what we need to do. I’ve also felt prompted to learn all I can about helping women to give birth!
Excellent. The ability to hear God, follow the counsel and bless those around you. I am glad you mentioned the widow and Elijah. Do everything you can, act with faith and no matter what happens, we will be blessed.
God started prompting me to start buying extra food in September of 2019. As I started doing this God prompted me to buy all the other things too. Like water, fuel, and other supplies that I didn’t think I would need, but I did it anyway. I had no idea why God was telling to do these things. But 2020 came and I understood. I’ve been growing my pantry and supplies ever since. God does take care of us if we just act on God’s prompting. Thank you both for providing so much knowledge and insight. You were one of the UA-camrs I watched from the beginning for help. Take care. ❤️🙏😊
My call came in 2020. built a second pantry last fall and it is nearly full. I'll be canning sweet potatoes tomorrow. Later this month I'll work in the garden to grow collards to eat and can. Hope to have carrots and beets over wintering with the collards.
Soooo perfectly timed! I’ve noticed lots of preparedness channels doing the “50 things you MUST have” noise lately. It freaks me out when I think of what all that must be. Instead, a subtle, settled message like this reminds me I have been and continue to prepare with more than just things. Thanks you two, enjoy your woodland time.
Such good reminders! I've learned so much from watching your channel and have done my best to teach and learn from others. My aunt lives in Northern CA and was without power for 10 days last year due to fires. I learned a lot by calling daily to check in & cheer her up. She read many books and had a battery-powered radio to listen to. I now do a better job of charging up my devices, flashlights, backup batteries, etc. I am also in the habit of filling my giant Stanley with boiling hot filtered water for the next morning. It makes oatmeal & mint tea so quick. I stocked up on cranberries & golden raisins so my oatmeal is yummier (I bought honey in a 5 gallon bucket so I can get through a LONG stretch). I"ve practiced using my Sun Oven a lot more. I've stocked up on alternative fuels in case the skies are gray or smoky. I keep a large ice block in my freezer to buy a little extra time. If power is out for more than 3 days, I'll host an evening BBQ with neighbors so those frozen meats don't go to waste. My aunt didn't want to open her freezer and EVERYTHING spoiled. She lives alone and doesn't have a car - so grocery shopping is not a frequent activity. She lost several hundred dollars worth of food. I often make an easy survival soup (similar to something you guys made awhile ago) that only requires lentils, dehydrated carrots & onions, bay leaves, garlic, salt, and pepper. Its made with olive oil. Its so yummy and doesn't rewuire a ton of fuel. I add Costco bacon bits (kept in the freezer) and a sprinkle of cheese when I have it. There may not be cheese during grid down - so buying a few small containers of parmesan will make those "boring" dishes so much lovelier. Most of all, don't run out of oil! I keep two gallons on hand at all times and ration accordingly for my family of five. And yes, I believe that Jesus Christ IS coming back! Prepare accordingly. ❤
I love your videos. They are always so encouraging. Many years ago God told me to "Be Still and Know that I am God!" Psalms 46:10 Basically He was telling me to shut up and listen. At the time I was doing all the talking. He began to direct my path in a very distinct way and I am ever so grateful for His love, direction, mercy and grace. I don't know how people make it without a relationship with Him.
Oh, so true. It is good to have food supplies, stored water and grid-down gear, but NOTHING beats mental preparation. Be able to calm yourself when under stress (prayer is good for this), have the will to live and clear reasons to survive, know how to use a paper map, know how to do first aid and CPR, know how to cook basic raw foods on a one burner camp stove, know how to pace yourself, know how to do basic home nursing for an ill or injured family member, etc.
I live in the U.K. and love your site. We do not have nearly as well developed prepper community here but it is growing. I just wanted to say that God has been saying the same things here as in the USA ,people are hearing and taking action.
I completely agree - it is overwhelming! At times we just unplug to get away from the gimmicks. It can be so frustrating. We made a list of the most important things to us and focus on them first. I force myself to listen to what everyone else thinks we need and why - we can all continue to learn and grow. But no-one knows you and yours like you!!! Thank you for sharing all this information.
Prayer is the mainstay of my life; more so now as I have been of from work at half pay for 6 months; I am sick without a diagnosis yet🙏 everytime I thought I wouldn’t make it, financially, He has blessed me; and I’m learning to overcome fear…& as you know I am a new prepper & after 3 weeks, i now have my 2 week supply of water; I made a plan to go through your “new prepper” videos & follow your lead as best I can. I don’t have the money for lots of “stuff” but I do have a God who knows my needs😊❤️🙏🙏🙏
That is awesome! I'm sorry that you are sick. Whenever I need something, I ask my Heavenly Father to help me. He is seriously amazing and I have witnessed so many miracles. Keep up the great work!
I have stocked and planned all according to my visions given by a higher power. Even on a very meager disabled's budget, I have acquired things as if led to them or given funds to get what I need. I have been planning in earnest since 2011, but even as a child I had these visions and dreams. I might not survive long but I will because of a purpose given to me. Thank you for such a great video and for the great company you run. Take Care and Stay Safe.
What a great list thank you... I have also added strength courage and resiliance too mine... I know too well the loses ... loosing everything in 2015 in a flood... And now my soulmate of 12 years in June this year 😔..so physical purchased preps have had too slow down.. Right now I'm leaning into god to show me the way forward but was also guided to grow food since 2019 im still doing that to this day... Im also now on the path of learning natures treasure of medicinal plants... Ive also just in the last month connected with a community of like minded growers where we meet twice a month to swap produce ... ❤
I am so sorry for your loss Denise! You are doing great things. I just dried comfrey and plantain. Pulled calendula and parsley out of my freeze dryer this afternoon. I love growing my own food and medicine. It is hard work but incredibly rewarding!
Spot on, keep up the positive vibes, I’d rather live the life and know how to do it everyday than wait around hoping I can do it, we live our life being self sufficient, providing our own power grow our own food, live of what we produce as much as we can, those things we can’t we definitely rely on our community, great job! These five items are a life style, it’s not going to be easy to just implement them when times get tough, live it now, it is so satisfying
You both are so awesome!!! Thank you!!! You are soooo right about all of this. You have helped me learn new skills, build knowledge and experience through practice. Faith in God, yes!!! Thank you!
People need to know that God is in control and not to fear. We need to focus on our Lord ! He WINS! We need to encourage others and this will be the perfect time to bring non believers to Christ! TY for sharing the most valuable part of prepping and that is trusting in God. We also know that God will be our provider. He provided the manna for His children coming out of Egypt. If its not in your stock pile, why not trust God for all your needs and provisions! He's out victory!
Thanks for the #5. I agree we do not hear enough of the spiritual preparation and walk. Great to hear about Listening to God. Reliance on God is key. Pray for our daily bread. Use our talents and abilities as He has given us. Great examples of Scripture! Hope many hear your message, hear and know and draw close to Him.
Looks like you had a chance to kick back, but still hard at work. Very good points, thank you Jonathan and Kylene. Your examples and knowledge of the scriptures are greatly appreciated. Happy trails!
When 2020 hit, my husband and I realized how much we had slacked on food storage. Thankfully, we made it through okay, but since then I’ve felt that the pandemic was like a fire drill for something worse ahead. We built up our food storage and other emergency preparedness. Now with the election looming, there’s just this tension, and I want to get as prepared as possible before Election Day. Thank you for your videos; they are wonderfully informative without fanning flames of fear. ❤
I really enjoyed this video. So much wisdom packed into such a short space of time. But so valuable!!! One of your list items made me think of the book “Man’s Search For Meaning” by Viktor E. Frankl. That is one of my top 10 books ever. It is the story of a man who endured the concentration camps in WWIi. He was separated from his family but lived for them and the possibility of reuniting. In his story, he said, “Those who have a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'.”
If you are not a Christian, but would like to know more, buy a Bible in an easy to read edition such as The Amplified Bible. Start with the book of John, then Acts. Keep reading through the New Testament; your heart will be touched! ❤
I bought books on all the subjects I know we will need to learn. Herbal medicine, plant identification, canning, gardening, leather tanning etc. i know how to do most of these things but my kids don’t. If I’m gone they can learn.
God opened my eyes, my heart and my mind. I see more clearly now. I talk to him and ask for the wisdom to carry on as the world becomes unrecognizable. Pray everyone.
Thank you so much for this video!!! These are definitely the most important things we should be focusing on! Such a great reminder and confirmation to me that I’ve been on the right track in preparation. The scripture you mentioned about cheerfully doing all things in our power and then be still to see the hand of God…that scripture has been coming to my heart so often the past few years! Also the past few years I’ve felt prompted to learn all I can about growing/ harvesting and creating medicine from medicinal plants. This is a reminder to me to keep developing this skill and learning all I can. Thank you!!! ❤❤❤
We thought we were prepared. Last February, wildfires destroyed vast areas here in the Texas Panhandle and we were required to evacuate. We weren't prepared! The case of emergency food sitting next to the door couldn't fit in the car. By the time we got clothes packed, the highway was closed. Lesson learned. At least, we didn't lose the house as some did. Thanks for everything you do.
I’ve been telling my sons and almost every young person I run into, to learn how to work with your hands. Learn how to use tools. Buy repair manuals and hand tools. Learn how to grow and preserve food, then share the knowledge. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and experience unpleasant things. As for God? He created us to be farmers from the start. I learned more about killing in the military than I ever wanted to know. My mission now is to promote life in whatever way I can. The widows, the fatherless, the sojourner and the oppressed need us to be what God made us to be!
This is the best video that I have seen in a long time. I cannot tell you what a sigh of relief this is. #5- Some of the things Adonai had me do over the last few years, in the realm of "prepping" had nothing to do with getting ready for a storm, but then again it was. Storms come in all shapes and sizes. But, because I listened and did this, and done that "crazy thing", today when the storm is at our door. He has us right where we need to be. Could He have fixed this so that we would not have had to go through this storm- OF COURSE! But, would we have learned anything of how to make changes so that we do not face this type of storm again?!? YEP! When the children of Israel went into exile, they laid markers to remember the way back home. We can see it as "how did we get here?". Preparing for all of this, the knowledge I have gained is mind boggling. Just when you think you have heard it all- and one more thing....My BIGGEST and best lesson has been- God's food, GOD's way, to take care of our bodies that HE created. Band-Aids cover the wound, but, until the root is pulled up, that wound (serpent) is likely to slink right back in the door.....“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe....Luke 11:21
Luv you guys, thanks for reminding us about what's most important. Sometime when you're bored and have nothing else to talk about (LOL!!) would appreciate hearing your thoughts about listeria and food prep area disinfection when prepping, packaging, storing and handling food.
Thank you for sharing this important list. I too have been listening to preppers again, but I have noticed it causes me to worry, not think clearly, and procrastinate, but your list provides a simplified and excellent stating point. You’re a great team.
food storage for quite some time but in the recent , maybe 3 years I started gardening, especially growing fruit trees from seeds...it's so rewarding. I also stay physically and mentally active do not want that my kids have to take care of me
a great list and I've been working on all these for years really intensely especially the community aspect. #5 is the hardest for me admittedly. Obviously I'm from a different albeit somewhat related tradition, and I used to be very religious. You do not want to know how many nights I laid awake all night trying to figure out how I was going to find certified kosher food storage and more importantly how i was going to pay for it. As I've gotten deeper into preparedness I've very much started leaning harder on the self-reliance aspect as opposed to shelf-reliance. I've moved into a suburb but unfortunately away from the local jewish community and am looking to move further rural which means even further from the community and It's nearly impossible to maintain an orthodox lifestyle here. so I don't, as evidenced by me posting this comment on shabbos lol. I do miss it and I like to tell myself that my spiritual horizons are broader or that I don't need a synagogue but still, I miss it and know I need to work on it.
Thank you so much for all the info on preparedness as well as spiritual preparedness. I just love your videos. They have really helped me feel confident in the things that we are doing to be more prepared.
As I prepared I started 41 years ago with I started with a retirement & and a children’s education accounts. I did not wait until I needed money from these accounts. Another prep that I have been blessed with is the ability to do without excesses & live below my means. Community is the hardest for me!
That is a great prep (and life skill) Mike! Learn to live without excesses and below our means. One of my sons said it really well, "learn to live without". He was a poor college student at the time and had learned to get buy on very little and be happy. I was talking to Sam a few nights ago and asked him if he thought that he was poor growing up. (We have a large family and limited resources. We drive old cars and grow a lot of our own food. I would shop for school clothes at garage sales throughout the summer then buy new socks and underwear at WalMart. For years, the youngest four kids slept in the same room in two sets of bunkbeds.) His response warmed my heart. He said that he never felt poor. He always had what he needed and loved being surrounded by family. Honestly, we need a warm place to live, good food in our bellies, to feel safe, and to be surrounded by love. That's the good life.
This is the time to get to know God. Waiting until you're in the middle of a tornado, or a financial crisis or a medical emergency is just foolishness. Now is your day of salvation. Start reading your Bible every day. THAT'S how you get to know Him. And you'll be safe through any storm of life.
When an event or catastrophe takes place it's usually unexpected, and our minds and emotions need a minute to grasp the situation. This can be quite a shock. It IS important to have supplies, but you are right, knowledge and skills are crucial to make it work. Knowing that you can cook with those 3 alternative sources can lower your heartbeat. Knowing that you not only have food stored, but have developed the skills to raise a garden can comfort you. Yes, having a reason to live gives you the desire to try again tomorrow, despite how discouraging the situation. And yes, God is the rock that guides us, comforts us and protects us. Should be on your speed dial.
I have three areas of spinal stenosis, arthritis up and down the spine. L4 and L5 have slipped and that was after surgery. This started in 2007, surgery in 2015. Because I tried everything for so long, I have permanent nerve damage and fully disabled from 2014. My thyroid is fully dead, from treatment for Graves disease and that last bit with age. I stopped six opiates a day for weed, off neurontin and coming off my antidepressants. Last year I went six months without my thyroid meds and felt like I was dying, lost half my hair. I know going without the thyroid meds is a slow death. So if things got so bad, I'm tired of severe chronic pain and know my time is limited without my meds. I can stand 5-20 minutes, by minute 20 the pain can have me crying. I more I do, as the day goes by, the less time I get before the severe pain. Many of us won't make it for our medical reasons, I have come to terms with it and wish the hest for those that can survive.
The biggest preparation help came in the form of a dream. God gave the security to not fear and if I waver then He said to pray and remind Him of His promises. Very comforting for me because I have a big creative imagination as a writer! God will get us through. His word says so. Thank you for the most informative and constructive prep talk.
Wonderful video! So easy to fall into the trap of being overwhelmed and making purchases above what your budget allows. Money can’t buy the items on your list today😊
With all due respect to you and the late, great Jim Phillips, I feel you first need clean water, healthy food, heat, shelter and then add the 5 you mentioned. I would put belief and faith in God at the top of your 5 list.
Pray for eyes 👀 to see and ears 👂👂 to hear. "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." Pres. Russell M. Nelson
I live in an area that is at war between two factions of the Sinaloa cartel, what recommendations would you give us to be protected? there are shootings every day. Saludos!
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." 6:33, KJV "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26, KJV Put God first, and He'll take care of you. The Ten Commandments still stand. Other critical, yet mostly ignored, "prep" is your health. Health is wealth, as they say. Without health your other preps won't do much for you. Burpees and regular walking/rucking will do the trick for most people.
Shungite stones can clean radiation from water. I just found these and going to use with tap water but in my search on information, I saw that it removes radiation from water.
I fear less knowing I have the skills to grow and preserve my food. I also have the acreage to do so. And the knowledge of God's plan and knowing His plan wins in the end.
For the longest time I quit stockpiling food or water because they told me what I was doing was wrong and I need to quit doing this before I went to prison for doing this shit but my dreams kept coming till I start a stop calling food again buying up things I usually don't eat but I just started eating like rice and beans ice travel learning how to make my jellies and jams making homemade bread inmate starting a garden things I would not done when I was younger
great points, so not where i was thinkin this video was going!! i enjoy helpin others, BUT when you tell them things they should be doing now instead of waiting till later & they dont listen, then its on them & i am getting to the point im not going to help them when the time arises!! thanks for sharing & god bless!!!
God has asked me to start storing water and food for long-term I've seen dreams in the near future there is a war coming for the whole world especially for the United States I've seen this for and somehow I think I have lived it
Is the Jim Phillips you know the same as the one who came out with the cold weather underlines about 25 years ago? If so, I’d really like to talk to him asap. Thanks!
What do you think about those who plan to defend their preps with a gun? What kind of preparations have you made to keep your preps safe? That is something to teach us.
We plan to do whatever God tells us to do. We don't talk much about self-defense on our videos. That should not be taken as a sign that we are not prepared to defend our family. We are also prepared to love and share with those in need. We will know what we need to do if the situation presents itself. In the meantime, we help all those around us (who are willing) become more self-reliant minimizing the risk :)
Iodine isn't my preferred method of disinfection. It only disinfects not actually purifies. You can purchase tablets which have a short shelf life or crystal iodine (Polar Pure) that has an indefinite shelf life but is hard to find. I believe in faith in one's self, in hope and kindness. I try to find the good in people. Any people. But when my eldest son passed, I gave up on God or Jesus because The God I knew the Jesus who loved so freely. They had no hand in reducing the harms that happened to my son after 8 years of dialysis. He had an awful death, suffering 2 years.
So sorry for your loss. I know what it's like not getting your prayer answered with healing. Our fallen world is temporary. I pray you soften your heart to the Lord. Eternity is right around the corner.
We don't always understand why God allows some things to happen. We lost our daughter in a tragic car accident where the driver fell asleep at the wheel. She was sleeping in the back seat with her seatbelt on. She was killed instantly. There isn't a day go by that we don't mourn her loss. Be that as it may be, we have chosen to trust God and His will. There is so much pain when you lose someone that way. The pain is real and the pain is intense. You feel abandoned and it is absolutely reasonable that you have a hard time understanding how God could let that happen. God loves you! Don't give up on him. I promise that you will understand eventually. In the meanwhile, there is great peace when you allow God to wrap you in His arms. I'm so sorry that happened to your son! I can understand how it can feel like way too much to bear. Bless you! My heart aches for your pain!
If things actually really went south most people won’t survive their neighbors raiding them after they run out of food. Look at what happened in Louisiana after the hurricane. People didn’t even have basic needs and yet were out robbing stores of items like tv’s.
That is always the story that is reported but that isn't what happens everywhere. I interviewed a woman after Katrina who said that their neighbors all worked together and helped each other out. They were all outside on their porches because the power outage made it too hot to stay in the house much. She said they were so sad when the lights went back on and they were no longer interacting with their neighbors. Build those relationships now. Together we can survive anything!
I’m sooo glad you put our Sovereign God in this post; without his grace & love & mercy, we have nothing🙏🙏🙏❤️
This is one of your best ever videos!!
Like you, I sometimes get overwhelmed by the ever present push to purchase things. All the supplies in the world will not be of much help without the 5 essentials you covered today.
Thank you so much for being the best ever content creators for preparedness.
Wow! You are so kind Brenda. Thanks so much for joining us and for being part of the solution!

God is so amazing! You are blessed because you listened!
By far, the best video I’ve seen on preparedness in these times! Thank you!
Wow, thank you!
When God is first in my life and thought’s, He guides me in the other area’s. ❤
You’re both awesome!!
A LOT of the ones who say "I wouldn't want to survive that!" actually change their minds at the last minute, and become heavy burdens for others.
instinct kicks in
Yes, because starvation is one of the worst ways to die, people will become desperate!
knowledge and skills, attitude, a reason to survive, community and relationships, and relationship with GOD
Thank you.

You are awesome!
I truly enjoyed this segment. The information you provide is of real value.
He has also told me that same thing! So important to trust in His will and His timing!
Can you share what’s going on in the UK? I’m hearing that thing are pretty tough.
That’s great to hear!! Glad people are seeking the Spirit and listening! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for being so positive 😊
Always!
I love reading how many people are being prompted to learn about medicinal plants!! That’s been a huge prompting for me! ❤
#5 is number 1 ❤❤
You both are so awesome!!! Thank you!!! You are soooo right about all of this. You have helped me learn new skills, build knowledge and experience through practice. Faith in God, yes!!! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
THANK YOU, very good❤! John 3:16❤!
Thanks Joy!
I love that book!
If you are not a Christian, but would like to know more, buy a Bible in an easy to read edition such as The Amplified Bible. Start with the book of John, then Acts. Keep reading through the New Testament; your heart will be touched! ❤
You do such a great job of getting this important information out there, you two! Thank you so much for your info and testimonies! ❤
Thank you for being part of the solution!
Thank you for this message!! Very thought provoking and encouraging!!
Thanks so much for the knowledge and love you all share!!!
Always, God is good!!!
Thanks TPP
All so right and true. Thank you, Kylene and Johnathan ❤️🙏
Thank you for such a great message, it actually answered a question I have been praying about.
Prayer is so amazing!
Beautiful!
Beautiful! Thanks!
What great examples you two are! Thank you! Your content is top notch! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow, thank you! God gets all the credit!
Thanks so much for this latest video. I appreciate each of those 5 points!
Luv you guys, thanks for reminding us about what's most important. Sometime when you're bored and have nothing else to talk about (LOL!!) would appreciate hearing your thoughts about listeria and food prep area disinfection when prepping, packaging, storing and handling food.
Excellent video!!!
Glad you liked it!
Best prep video. Thanks!
Wow, thanks!
Thank you for sharing this important list. I too have been listening to preppers again, but I have noticed it causes me to worry, not think clearly, and procrastinate, but your list provides a simplified and excellent stating point. You’re a great team.
Thanks! We are so grateful that you are a part of our team!
food storage for quite some time but in the recent , maybe 3 years I started gardening, especially growing fruit trees from seeds...it's so rewarding. I also stay physically and mentally active do not want that my kids have to take care of me
Thank you for words of
Wisdom
a great list and I've been working on all these for years really intensely especially the community aspect.
It is an important area for all of us to work on! You are awesome!
Excelente!!!!!!, sin Dios no somos nada.
Amen!
Thank you so much for all the info on preparedness as well as spiritual preparedness. I just love your videos. They have really helped me feel confident in the things that we are doing to be more prepared.
Thank you! We are so grateful that you are preparing!
WELL SAID.
💜so true. Thx💜
So true!
The biggest preparation help came in the form of a dream. God gave the security to not fear and if I waver then He said to pray and remind Him of His promises. Very comforting for me because I have a big creative imagination as a writer! God will get us through. His word says so. Thank you for the most informative and constructive prep talk.
That's beautiful!
Recently, I was prompted to get a 72 hour kit. So I am working on that now.
Awesome!
Wonderful video! So easy to fall into the trap of being overwhelmed and making purchases above what your budget allows. Money can’t buy the items on your list today😊
So true!
Very good points! I am not a Christian but I do indeed have a spiritual connection with HaShem.
Excellent!
With all due respect to you and the late, great Jim Phillips, I feel you first need clean water, healthy food, heat, shelter and then add the 5 you mentioned. I would put belief and faith in God at the top of your 5 list.
Awesome critical preps except I personally will put #5 as #1, then the others are in order
Jesus saves!!
Yes He does!
Amen
Amen!
Some better than others.
Pray for eyes 👀 to see and ears 👂👂 to hear. "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." Pres. Russell M. Nelson

WELL SAID. GOD IS IN CONTROL
I live in an area that is at war between two factions of the Sinaloa cartel, what recommendations would you give us to be protected? there are shootings every day. Saludos!
God supplies! Sometimes supernaturally, sometimes by giving us the ability to obtain what is needed.
God led me to go to college at 55 - 9 years ago. I am still going in the field of health and genetics. Why? I still don't know but I am obeying.
It will be so interesting to find out!

Good video. Number five is the most important in life. Serve god. God bless.
Absolutely!
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
6:33, KJV
"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
Luke 14:26, KJV
Put God first, and He'll take care of you.
What are examples of skills and knowledge?
This!!!!
God has asked me to start storing water and food for long-term I've seen dreams in the near future there is a war coming for the whole world especially for the United States I've seen this for and somehow I think I have lived it
What to do when a couple of people in community or family members are takers not helpful as community help to survive.
That is such a tough one. Keep loving them. It takes tough love sometimes :)
Is the Jim Phillips you know the same as the one who came out with the cold weather underlines about 25 years ago? If so, I’d really like to talk to him asap. Thanks!
Yup it is the same Jim Phillips. Unfortunately, Jim passed away. He is greatly missed!
I’m sorry to hear that. I got to spend time with him when he spoke for the Prophecy Club. I really enjoyed talking with him. Thanks for the reply.
@@TheProvidentPrepper Well said. Thanks.
God is my Lord and Savior!
Looking for land to homestead.😊
How do you purify water with iodine?
Iodine isn't my preferred method of disinfection. It only disinfects not actually purifies. You can purchase tablets which have a short shelf life or crystal iodine (Polar Pure) that has an indefinite shelf life but is hard to find. Learn more here theprovidentprepper.org/making-water-safe-to-drink-7-disinfection-techniques/
I believe it was the lean cows that ate the fat cows in the emperors dream.
Oops! You are so right. My poor little brain 😊
Together we can survive anything!
step 5 shod be step 1
