Bruh, I'm not gonna disagree with that, but with people are forgetting os what type of system Sherrone Moore ran when Jim was there, that won them a national championship? Michigan ran a smash-mouth element of an RPO scheme... very similar to what Urban Meyer ran. When he came up from florida and that's what people are completely frigging missing. All of this basskackwards quibbling earlier season about lending Donovan. Edwards compete with Khalil Mullins. There was never any competition. There were two different posts. 1. Running back 2. Power back Khalil Mullins, unbeknownst to him ended up blowing the doors off the hinges for the power back position. Donovan Edwards never had anything to worry about. They just needed to identify who they were going to post up in the slot against Colston Loveland ( when he was playing) back-and-forth between him when called upon - two backs three downs... system works. And as a former slot receiver, I'm telling you right now. When you put a big body in a slot, it changes things.... it drives corners, linebackers and free safeties crazy - that's why the SEC uses it predominantly. But it doesn't always encompass. The big tense Smash Mouth approach at that is what John harball came to Ann. Arbor preached up to Jim who was coolest on it when he figured it out - that's when Sherrone Moore got bought in and didn't look back....
I’m not out of my mind , I know a beast when I see one and Jordan marshal is going to be a beast , Ben hall has looked very competent as a power back. I would rather Michigan use that money to get other needs and or throw more on the grant pile to try and convince him to stay.
UofM absolutely needs another proven RB. Jordan Marshall was out a good bit this year due to injury. Ben Hall is still unproven as well and Kapana is not a every down back.
Justice Haynes is similar to Mullings. A bruiser that will get ya 2 yards after contact no matter what and wear down a defense. Side Note: Miller Miss got hosed by USC. Dude was getting beat to death every game and still put up 300 plus yards a game. Riley is a fraud.
My wish list to close out the portal: QB Dequan Finn RB Justice Haynes WR Johntay Cook II OL Josh Thompson OL Fa'alili Fa'amoe DL David Gusta LB Troy Bowles CB Emmanuel Karnley
Just fyi heard it on at least two episodes…not that it really matters but: The Brady Norton 45min thing. His timestamps for OSU post was ~8:30am and Michigan commit post was ~9:15pm
We’ve got like 4 VERY average players from the portal, what are we talking about?? Getting a little annoyed, dudes lining up to go to play for this boomer Belichick at UNC, LSU, Texas and every other program that abuses NIL but everyone and their mother is scared to come to Michigan because of Bryce? Dudes should be lining up to come here not only because of Bryce but also what we just did to Ohio Soft U. Same kinda thing with the undefeated season and Natty win last year, thinking that would give us a boost in recruiting but it simply wasn’t, Jolin Elison and Dave Portnoy had to make it happen.
I completely agree! All the players we have got so far are average at best and probably won’t make a difference for Michigan. I’m tired of people saying everything is gonna be alright but we haven’t gotten a single big name. Receivers and skill positions should be lining up to come to Michigan but they aren’t! It’s annoying to see the media telling fans not to worry!
Because those other teams are desperate and are paying whatever the players want. Michigan simply won’t do that. Do you want them to keep a hungry culture or do you want it to be a freaking free for all in that locker room to where it becomes toxic? Which is it? Moore just stamped a top 10 class in his first recruiting cycle, Wink looks to have this defense figured out, and Michigan now has some young QBs fighting for jobs with a new OC. People act like the sky is falling ffs.
Daquan Finn I believe is the best secondary QB option, all saying you need to even bring another QB in. It was stupid.... And I mean utterly stupid, and I don't care when anybody has to say about even the idea of allowing Alex Orji to leave the program. He should have stayed because a real deal OC was coming in and that should have been encouragement right there - And would have had the ability to benefit from his experience and at least iron out A little vistaur behind an experienced OC rather than a patch... and also knew the system, so he's good. but saying you f'd up and you were moving to try to balance things out. So you can run the scheme you started 3 years ago that won your national championship, Finn is your best option.
I'm just gonna say one thing: Sherrone Moore better get this offseason right! If we go into next season and only win 8 or 9 games with that soft schedule, Moore needs to go! Can't waste any more time on a guy who can't win a Natty with a Unicorn like Brice Underwood. 10-2 at worst in 2025 is the goal! An undefeated season is doable. But so far, the portal acquisitions have been mediocre at best. I'm concerned that we're giving Moore too much credit for Underwood! The Ellison family ought him! Plain and simple. We barely beat a bad MSU squad by 7 lowsy points! And the Bucknuts beat themselves in THE GAME! Michigan just let them do it. As far as I'm concerned, Moore doesn't deserve credit for any of those things! And he's screwing the pooch so far in the portal! In thus day and age, you either have to drop bags for talent or develop it yourself. If they're not gonna drop some bags, then hire some more coaches and analysts, a 2nd S&C Coach, and develop these guys into monsters. There's no other way to win these days.
We shouldn't sweat or worry about the losses of Derek Meadows and Elijah Griffin. C-Moore has crushed his first 2025 recruiting class in congratulations. We are 4th-5th in this year's recruiting and portal transfers, which is incredible for Michigan! May you, sir, and your family have a Merry Christmas🎅🏻, and the best of holidays❄. Always, GOBLUE-🤘🏼🏆!
He's pretty shifty, but slow af-aka, a typical Mike Hart recruit. We need a burner. Remember all those huge runs Edwards made? They don't happen if he isn't a BURNER.
@joshmyers7792 Buddy... go look at his highschool tape... he is not fast. The kicker easily caught up to him on that kick return against Northwestern. He can still likely be a solid rotation guy, though.
anyone who says we don't need a RB is out of their mind

I still can't believe we beat OSU this year 😂😂😂😂
Me too🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 go blue
Having another 6'5" QB would be pretty awesome too. Fernando Mendoza would elevate our QB room to eye level with Texas.
I know that Tyler Morris is on the transfer boat, but has the ship sailed yet? Wouldn't be the worst thing to get him back.
I don't think he's even considered among the top 50 receivers available in the portal.
He looks way different with McCarthy than he did with warren. Get him someone decent he will do fine
Isaiah, good to see you sir. You're the best at what you do. Wolverine fans lucky to have you for a source. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you!!
Another good show, Thanks!!

Bro, what is that white sweater you're wearing?
But before we do…
Where did our OSU trolls go? Did something happen?
They’re still thinking about Michigan while Tennessee is on the clock. 🤣

I always wonder if players that go to schools in florida just got lost and then are held against their will.
I’m gonna go ahead and say we land none of these guys u named
