So Sedna is queen of the oceans because she arrived after the last great flood and returns for the next one within 50 years. She is the orbital clock mechanism we have been sent as a warning system for the great cycles of Earth life (and death.) Sedna is the one to watch.
I love the humor and visuals of your stopmotion and the inclusion of your cat helping you out. It makes the myth of Sedna much more accesible and real. I used to live in a wooded area with many ravens who would greet each other at daybreak before flying away for their daily activities and then repeat their greetings at nightfall when they returned to the woods. There was a wisdom and continuity in their community that I found comforting. We can choose to save our biosphere not for ourselves but all the other creatures for whom we should be stewarding our planet.

You know, I just realized something... I know.planetary alignments are always brought up with apparent events in history where we 'evolved'. In the example of this video, it's Sedna, neolithic age and humans coming out of the cave and learning to grow crops. assumption is always that we evolved to a higher level by learning something like cultivating crops for food.
But what were we doing before that... One way is to think we were less intelligent and so we didn't know how to grow our own food. But then we got smarter because we learned to farm. But... the reason why we grow food today is because we have to stockpile for different seasons where we have no food available.
Maybe it was more abundant before we were forced to learn to mass produce food for ourselves... I'd never thought about it from that angle. And I haven't heard anyone else actually now that I think about it. Maybe the weather was much nicer before that and food just grew everywhere... interesting Because everything seems to be going to hell at the moment across the world. Maybe it's just going to get worse and worse and even worse after fifty years And we will have to figure out how to evolve again to survive... Because life becomes actually harder. Is interesting time will tell.

My original research led me to a site that gave 2048 as the date(and I didn't question it😕), but soon after doing the video I got access to a proper Sedna ephemeris. I think that's a beautiful, elegant transition for the higher frequencies of Aquarius. The water bearer looks down and pours its knowledge over humanity... but the Water Breather has a sense of looking up and beyond. I love it.

Thank you for this! My father's moon is conj my Sedna amd I had a Sedna experience recently. It has definitely been a Shamanic journey to healing. When i read about Sedna years ago i thought it would never happen to me, but it did! Sedna is transiting into H6, and I have been wanting to transition into a career related to environmental sustainability and climate change. This is a powerful confirmation.

@@gtesremos thanks for your question. Sedna (the deity) has lots of different names in Inuit culture, but in astrology (as far as I know) her only other name is her official asteroid # 90377. She won't be in the Vedic chart, but you can find her if you look up Eg placidus or whole sign house system on Astro.com/extended chart selection/ additional objects/ 90377.

Ive quincunx with Moon and Mars that in its exact nature and not other aspects with tight orbs it has demanded attention. So currently Pluto trine Moon and square Mars that make way to slower Sedna transformation. It is amazing to observe the timings of different charts, as simultaneously progressed Mars opposes natal Moon and solar return Moon is 0° aries. There also is 8th h profection year as was 2012 when Jupiter lastly conjunct Moon. Im expecting pretty different 12 year cycle to begin soon because the J&Moon charts are different. 2012 transit Mars conjunct Asc and now he'll conjunct Moon in aries and draconic chart Jupiter. (Tropical Sedna is between draconic Asc and Saturn 2° to both).
My father's Mars is 3° before my Sun degree in virgo. He has Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in sag (Ive those in virgo with Saturn) and Uranus in gemini(square my Saturn). Im sort of feeling the generational baggages have been healed and its time for new era. I dont have my dad's exact birthtime, but before Ive guessed he may be cap rising. Just because he hasnt been overflowingly saggy( Saturn&Pluto in leo). Recently I began to ponder if he is virgo rising. Two of his children are virgo risings/&one Sun, one cap Asc & 2 Suns.
Generational/family charts are mesmerizing. My big sister has whole sign Mars and Saturn(29°) in leo 12th house, Ive North Node, my little brother Saturn, Uranus and Mercury in sag 12th with Sun conjunct Neptune in 1st. He also has Mars and Jupiter in pisces and pretty much rest in scorpio. Saturn energies dont get externalized in material way. I think we all have been cleaning up some unconscious generational stuff to make end of it. None of us have chilren so this energetic lineage seems to be ending with us.
In placidus I only have Saturn in 1st, but couple of years Ive began to work with whole sign system. It could have only be done after realizing 12th house energies.

Sedna takes a journey through family destiny, cultural change, unrealised dreams... quincunx moon and mars, you might have an off/on integration of sednas transformation as you shed, release and heal the family patterns. But sounds like you have 'let go of the boat' and sunk thru the H12 to be transformed in the first house - esp with the 0°Aries stuff you have with it.

There is always more to discover. Sedna will be long past my Moon as progressed Sun ingres to scorpio with transit Venus and North Node on 2032 😄 Uranus trine natal Mars ( transit will be with Lilith and Juno on 4-9° virgo).
Astrology is great tool to work with energy. It helps to trust the meaning of the (long) process. Eases up balancing brain sides... Fine for Jupiter in gemini. I began to train weaker hand years ago, and I belive its conscious way to aid psycho synthesis with this physical vessel.

In my chart it’s conjunct design asc /as progressed rising sign in Taurus (w/ progressed earth entering sign) …Uranus/Jupiters Entrance aligning here,i could see this story as it relates to finding security, support and nourishment via the (divine) masculine , as regeneration of the sacred system

If she was in Taurus that will explain a lot because I literally met a man and went to live with him in his island and he was a dark magician. I kid you not it’s really what happened.
And it happened after my father died because I travelled to Cuba to try to recover from the illness.
I met a very beguiling and charismatic doctor and dancer and I married him yes and my life changed after that.
Just like the story goes it’s exactly the same and I had to lose a lot.

Good point @emmad1711 . There's is different readings of the myth that put her father as a protector.. and others that suggest he was embarrassed or dishonoured by her. I think, on one angle, Sedna's father represents the old traditional ways, and when the storm blew up with the crazy birds (representing her wild shamanic power), he freaked out. The patriarchy is very afraid of wild feminine power. Another way is to see the boat as the thing that 'keeps you afloat' in stormy times.. and her journey tells us, sometimes, you will be betrayed by the things thought you could depend on. Nevertheless, it's completely brutal to then cut off her hands. I have thought a lot about this... after trauma, it is like your hands are cut off - you can't express or take care of yourself. In Inuit culture, a woman's hands were super important because a man's clothes and waterproof shoes were all sewn by his wife - and his survival depended on it. A good wife is someone that can sew a seal skin well. In Sedna's case, I don't think she was interested in being a 'good wife', and cutting her hands off is a dramatic way to ensure she could not be.
