I knew there're some comments about Tokyo Revengers in the comments section because somehow Tokyo Revengers is a popular anime now, so I often see non-Japanese anime fans talking about it lately. According to some online articles, it seems it's true that Ken Wakui: the author was a delinquent and a host. However, I'm pretty sure he never told people that he was a part of Black Emperor and I don't think he will in the future because firstly, the author's a popular mangaka now. Telling people that he was a part of B.E. is very risky. Secondly, most of us aware that Bosozokus (Japanese biker gangs) are really unpopular since the '10s not like they used to be popular in the '70s to '90s. Even Japanese teens say about them like "Bosozokus? How lame. They're so behind the times." I just read some English online articles about the author. There were several pics of Bosozoku members and they said one of them are the author, but it was Cross Matsushima: a Yakuza, an ex-Bosozoku member and a porn directer. There're always false rumors, you know.
Well that's something you don't see it everyday. Although they looked scary and intimidating but they are just normal person, and nowadays it is really rare and small amount of people still appreciate these cultures.
Look, not all is bad, but you probably don't live in an area where these fckers(30) in Yokohama drive down the street past 12am and stop at redlights for minutes on end just reffing their bikes. I don't midn the gang, but i mind their typical "I'm so cool, so i'll ref my bike for no reason just to be annoying" bullshit. It's annoying!
