Let's face it, we would all love to have Sammy as a neighbor. Even though much of his life was a brutal existence, he knows more about living and dying than most of us will ever know. Thank you for this podcast series. I feel like I've learned more about myself just from listening to these amazing stories, told by an amazing man.

Even in this interview he says he went to jail 22 years in his life, but fails to mention of 16 of those years were after he already ratted on 36 people in the mafia and was out of the life. The bulk of his jail time was for his ecstasy ring he ran selling dope to kids.

Sammy, I have watched almost all your Videos, and I must say that this was the most touching, in a really special way: the way you introduced your son, and your apparent respect for you (ex)wife. It almost sounds as if you still love her, whenever you talk about her.
I may liken you to a livewire that can only KILL, once the insulation is broken. You're the real deal! Your honesty is profound, and your dedication for your family - most remarkable, especially from a person like you who was in that life. And even though you may have believed that your parents were disappointed with the way they had seen you back then, I'm pretty sure they'll be really proud to hear your stories now and see how you turned out. Stay well Sammy. ❤️
