So I am an owner of a 2016 z06 3LZ 7sp manual issue that can make it easier to drive this vehicle; first off great video. 1- keep up with the maintenance, oil changes, filters, breaks, all fluids. 2- put your cups in the garage, get the continentals all seasons, not just for costs but for the riding experience, excellent. Get the tires from “discount tire” 3- do yourself a favor, get roadside assistance AAA, because you WILL need it on the tires, its worth the yearly cost of $100, trust me. Tow it to discount tire and have the tire repaired or replaced no issues with insurance on each tire you purchased. Happened to me and on the road again in less than an hour including tow. 4- supreme fuel ONLY, if you cannot afford this don’t bother getting the corvette 5- drive the car, I have owned 2 vetted, everyone I’ve known that have let their car sit has issues, drive it at least 2-3 times per week. 6- unless you are going to track the vehicle often keep it stock, save your money, exhaust ok, air filter ok beyond that waste of money. 7- I drive hwy mostly I average 20mpg driving in 7th gear 77-82 mpg (Texas) in cruise control gotten up to 27mpg (19 city) it will treat you as good as you treat it in this regard. This vehicle has held its value at 9 years old I can still get 65k for it with 40,000 miles. I will never sell it. My son will inherit this beast. It rides great and turns heads every time I drive it. It is not my daily driver, but in the Spring and Summer I will drive it 5 days in a row, it is truly the best sports car I’ve ever owned. I loved my C6 and never thought I would like my C7 as much but when I push the clutch and switch gears it puts a smile on my face every time. Several trophies in my man cave to boot!
So many non car people think my C7 Z06 is an brand new one 😂 just shows how good the chevy design team is with the corvette. Yes tires are expensive and the bigger the wheel the more they are. I have 18's on mine and the MT ET street SS in 345/35/18 are $500 a tire
Change your transmission fluids and filter. It will wake your up car and it eliminated all hesitation. Also, add a GM air intake and it sounds better and you can feel the difference.
@ Yea I have a 2lz. Was just wondering. Heard that the Napa leather has a tendency to shrink as it heats up. Crazy part about it is that it’s not just the C7 that has this issue, I am hearing that the c6 with the Napa did the same thing. Wonder why GM didn’t address this known issue before putting it into the c7?
Let me tell you a classic. 09 Toyota Venza ageless classic. Reliable and still the black stallion. LOL. Love the Vid bro keep it up definitely your lane.
I had a 2017 c7z with zo7 package. It was a great car but wish I would have got the manual. The auto in these are junky feeling. I got a hellcat and it feels so much better. Had plans to build the zo6 but it cost major money. Ended up selling the c7z and plan to get a c8z next spring.
I get a dealer transmission flush every 30,000 miles to keep my 7 speed Manuel shifting pretty smooth. My 2019 Manuel Z06 has 37,000 problem free miles so far. I don't plan to EVER sell it.
I got my 2019 Z06 with the Z07 option in April 2024. I plan on keeping it until the end of time. So much fun to drive!

I'm in the market for another one. My last was stolen in Nov just several months after I purchased it. Solid vid, Aim High!
The carbon is actually carbon. Great video though! Love my 2017 M7 C7Z! Keeping her forever.

Great car bruh I'm a c7 owner also although I don't drive mine often it's a greattt car my dash has bubbled a lil but it's all gd !! Enjoy
The dash bubbling? Is it a 3lz with the Napa leather?
@@Illest1887 sounds like it is because the 1lz and 2lz does not bubble

the joy of this manual is unbeatable. best of luck towards that c8!
I kept the run flats that it came with just in case I get a flat tire.

its not flushed it has a drain plug...........................
Used to have one but now I prefer the refinement my my 911. The C7 is an untamed beast that can get you in a whole lot of trouble
no delusions here, 911 is an incredible car. very hard to keep up with on the track with a competent driver
